August 29, 2003 - The Enquirer reports that when Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen recently made love by candlelight, they ended up going to sleep without putting them out, and later Charlie stumbled going to the bathroom knocking over the tray and sent the candles to the floor, burning and melting the carpet. Charlie yelled at Denise to wake up, and the pair doused the flames with cups of water and wet towels.

August 14, 2003 - Popbitch.com reports that when Denise Richards married Charlie Sheen, she negotiated a clause in their pre-nup that guarantees her $4 million if she ever catches him cheating on her with hookers.

August 4, 2003 - Us Weekly spoke with Charlie Sheen who says he and wife Denise Richards have changed their tune about having kids. "Playing a dad [on the new CBS comedy ' Two and a Half Men'] is definitely going to make me want to do the real thing!"

July 23, 2003 - Us Weekly reports Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen celebrated their one-year anniversary at the exclusive resort Turks and Caicos Parrot Cay in Kauai. A witness said, "He was so respectful. He would carry her gym bag for her. They seemed so happy together!"

July 4, 2003 - The New York Daily News reports Denise Richards doesn't like planes, but her big fear is cooties, not crashes. "There are so many germs on a plane," Richards said. "I asked my doctor what I could use and he gave me this antibacterial ointment which I put in my nose."
