magazine reveals DMX's new clothing line will include doggie clothing such
as dog collars and coats. X admits, "I've always been attached to dogs,
as man's best friend. I feel like a dog should be treated with love and
tender care."

22, 2001 - DMX as of Tuesday had still not turned him self in to serve
his 15 day prison sentence but his publicist Angelo Ellerbee tells Launch.com
he wouldn't be at the Grammys revealing, "we've already made plans for
Swizz Beatz to accept his award should he win." He didn't win unfortunetly.

February 18, 2001 - DMX will
apparently miss the Grammys as he'll turn himself in to serve his 15 day
jail sentence early next week, according to his pulicist, Angelo Ellerbee,
who stated, "This is the first year he is nominated in two categories but
... he understands he's a person that is admired by millions and he wants
to set the proper example."
February 10, 2001 - A warrant
was issued against Earl Simmons for failing to appear for his 15 day jail
sentence Friday. DMX instead opted to fulfill obligations for Exit Wounds,

February 10, 2001 - In an
abstracts.net poll asking visitors if they thought DMX hurt his career
by his last minute MTV VMA cancellation, a vast majority of 80.1% said
no, while 19.9% said yes. A total of 146 votes were cast.
February 10, 2001 - DMX's
efforts to get out of his 15 day jail sentence came to an end as he surrendered
earlier today to the Erie County Correctional Facility in Alden, New York.
Erie County DA Frank Clark said, "Honestly, in my 30 years in law, I have
never seen a traffic matter go to federal court. I am amazed by all of
the legal churning I have seen over such a minor offense."
