16, 2002 - DMX will speak out against animal abuse as part of his sentence
for animal cruelty. The rapper will make radio announcements for the Humane
Society of the United States, as well as pay the $20,000 production costs
for the spots under the sentence imposed Friday by state Superior Court
Judge Donald R. Venezia. Read more.
February 9, 2002 - ABC has
a transcript of Wednesday's Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher which
included DMX as a guest along with Christopher Reid, Larry Hagman, Monica
Crowley. The panel discussed the anti-smoking ads during the Super Bowl,
hip-hop bravado, and the heart transplant surgery given to a prison inmate.
DMX was active in the discussion unlike many of his musical peers that
