September 21, 2002 - Searches
for DMX on pay-per search engine Overture.com were strong in August, but
just over 1/3 of the interest drawn by top rapper and fierce rival Ja Rule
and 1/10 of kingpin Eminem. DMX garnered 92,522 searches for the month,
and many of the searches focused on his developing beef with Ja. 'Party
Up' was DMX's most popular song search, while 'The Great Depression' was

14, 2002 - AllHipHop.com chatted with Charli Baltimore about being on Murder
Inc. and working with Irv Gotti, the Tupac Shakur story in the Los Angeles
Times that implicated Biggie in his death, and the ongoing beef between
DMX and Ja Rule. On the latter subject, Charli commented, "I don’t know
what the hell is going on as far as that’s concerned. I just be wanting
everything to die down. Negative press is kind of crazy." Read more.

September 4, 2002 - Ja Rule
tells MTV News he has no plans to retaliate against DMX who just recently
dropped 'They Want War', he insists the battle was always a one-way skirmish.
"I never had a confrontation with DMX," Ja said backstage before last week's
MTV Video Music Awards. "He's always had a [problem] with me. Since the
beginning of my career, I ignored it. I felt my way of answering him was
to be very successful and that would hurt him the most. So I blasted off
and now he's back again and he's mad again 'cause of my success." Read

of DMX audio on the growing-by-the-day beef between X and Ja Rule is out

we still haven't heard DMX's diss of Ja Rule, but so far most of you think
he's gonna come out looking like the victor in his beef with the Murder
Inc. star. 61.6% of you said X is gonna Ja Rule, while only 11.3% said
X is all bark and no bite, Ja Rule's gonna kick it. 14.3% say it's all
publicity, while 12.9% hope the two keep it on wax. For the complete results,
