spoke with Audioslave's Tom Morello about the group's pair of collaborations
with DMX, one of which, 'Here I Come', will be on the soundtrack for the
DMX and Jet Li film 'Cradle 2 the Grave'. The other will hopefully land
on a future movie soundtrack. "He's awesome," Morello raved of DMX. "He's
one of my favorite rappers of all time. It was such a thrill to find out
he wanted to work with us." Read more.

28, 2002 - MTV News reports Ja Rule spits at DMX in his new album 'The
Last Temptation', due November 19th. On the track 'Fu** With Us', Ja raps,
"What the fu**'s happening, Earl?/ You're mad at the world or just me,
because I'm on top on the world/ ... Crack addict, you know the n---a world
ain't having it/ ... Now you lost a good n---a, DMX. One love." Meanwhile,
Irv Gotti is claiming songs like Nelly and Kelly Rowland's 'Dilemma' and
Jay-Z and Beyoncé's ''03 Bonnie & Clyde' are ripping off Murder
Inc.'s hip hop and R&B fusion success. "That's our formula!" Gotti

dark prince of hip-hop, has never shied away from detailing the dark realities
of the streets, not in his songs, and certainly not in his latest work,
the memoir 'E.A.R.L. - The Autobiography of DMX.' Co-written with Smokey
D. Fontaine, the book follows X (born Earl Simmons) during the days before
and
leading up to the big time, with no-holds-barred descriptions of his life
in the projects, on the streets, in juvenile centers, in jail and on the

whole thing but I heard the last 2 and a half hours. Heres some notes from
it:
- This is his last album,
hes stressed and hes fed up with the rap game and he wants to do other
things.
- He talked about his book
coming out next month, Its about his life, how he grew up, what he's been
through up to the beginning of his career.
- He will continue to do
movies, he has a new one coming out in march called 'Cradle To The Grave'
with Jet Li. He starts filming a new one called 'Static' in January.
- The movie industry is
easy and the money is faster than in music.
- He's not gonna waste any
more time on the Ja Rule beef.
- If God tells him to come

reports that in DMX's soon-to-be released autobiography, E.A.R.L.: The
autobiography of DMX, DMX claims that Dame Dash admitted X defeated Jay-Z
in a battle of the then unsigned emcees, which took place in The Bronx.
X says the Roc C.E.O. was talking with Darrin Dean, C.E.O. of Ruff Ryders,
after the cipher and told him, "Yo, your man did kinda’ get him." Read

reports a teenage fan of DMX was sentenced to four years detention for
raping a 13-year-old girl he lured with a mobile phone text message. After
the case, a detective on the case said: "His actions appeared to mirror
DMX's lyrics. They talk of all women being bitches and say 'don't give
them your real name'. He would not kiss girls in case he caught a disease."
In the song 'X is Coming', DMX raps, "If you got a daughter older than
15, I'm gonna rape her, take her on the living room floor right now, what

co-starred with Steven Seagal in 'Exit Wounds,' snarls to Stuff magazine:
"Steven Seagal is a fu**. He's a fu**ing sh**head. With spray-on hair.
He talked like he was an old slave master. ‘Hey, wassup? We's gonna have
us a barbecue.' I was just like, ‘Man, who the fu** do you think you're
talking to? My name ain't Sambo, nigga. Get the fu** out of here with that
bullsh**.' Or he'd pull some fake attempting to be friendly fu**. He'd
see my wife and be like, ‘Hey, little mama.' We laughed about it. Just
like, ‘This guy's a fu**er.' He's a asshole."

reports DMX will be keeping ultra-busy the next few months with the release
of 'E.A.R.L.: The Autobiography Of DMX' on November 5, his new album 'It's
Not A Game' -- also in November, a new fragrance, dubbed Xcaliber, in December,
a new movie 'Cradle 2 The Grave' -- which comes out in March, and his latest
project the Mary Ella Foundation--named for his paternal grandmother, Mary
Ella Holloway--to help underprivileged kids in his New York hometown of
