December
4, 2002 - Star magazine reports DMX had an unbelievable number of demands
while filming 'Cradle 2 The Grave'. X insisted on having five relatives
on the payroll at very generous salaries - some as nail techs to perform
manicures for him, others as bodyguards. The rapper also got a Malibu home
to stay in for the duration of filming. The house was used as a party palace
causing DMX to miss several days of shooting, costing the studio plenty.
None of the behaviour hurt his standing with the studio though, as they
signed him up for a three picture deal afterwards.
November 25, 2002 - DMX's

to have Jay-Z and Nas and DMX willing to work with me. I've been around
for a long fu**ing time. I'm having an LL Cool J, Dr. Dre career! And I'm
from Texas, man! My sh** was supposed to be two motherfu**ing albums and
quit!"

November 21, 2002 - Ja Rule
was on Last Call with Carson Daly on Wednesday where he promoted his new
album and new movie before performing 'Thug Lovin'' again without Bobby
Brown. Ja had good things to say about the success of Eminem in '8 Mile',
saying it opens a big door for hip hop stars and is helping him secure
more movie roles and interest in his own scripts. As for rival DMX, he
was sounding pretty smug. "I think he's really pissed at me," he said.
"You know, I'm havin' a good time right now, man. I'm, you know, doin'
movies, you know, making records. I'm having a good time. I mean, you know,
I think it's a thing where he -- he's cold right now. You know what I mean?
And I'm hot. And he's seeking for ways to get hot. He's scrambled. You
know what I mean? He's like a wild pit bull right now. Like -- he doesn't
know how to get hot right now. And he's -- really, he's barking up the
wrong tree. I'm not the dude for that. You know what I'm sayin'?" Read
on for a complete transcript.
November 21, 2002 - One day

set to sell over 800,000 units.

reports Crazy Town is teaming up with hip-hop and soul acts DMX, Raphael
Saadiq, Slum Village, and "possibly" Xzibit for remixes of songs from its
next album, 'Darkhorse' which drops Tuesday (November 12). Frontman Shifty
Shellshock told Launch it won't be patterned after the Linkin Park remix
album though. "Linkin Park went out and put (out) a whole remix album,
that's not what we're trying to do," Shifty said. "What we're trying to
do is, we're gonna release each single, and each single is gonna have B-sides
on it. Or we're gonna release some vinyl of a bunch of remixes for the
clubs that are gonna enable the songs to have a wider spectrum of audience."

for the hydraulic system, and underneath it is chrome... automatic sunroof...
it's a beautiful car." X says he paid $50,000 for the car, the most he's
paid for an automobile.
