2, 2004 - DMX was photographed arriving at the Kew Gardens Court for arraignment
on Friday (June 25) after attempting to steal a car at John F. Kennedy
Airport. DMX, aka Earl Simmons, was charged with attempted robbery, criminal

Daily News has more details on DMX's arrest at Kennedy Airport last night
for allegedly trying to pull off a carjacking while posing as FBI agents,
according to Port Authority police. DMX and Hudgins were charged with attempted
robbery, criminal impersonation and criminal mischief. A law enforcement
source said DMX would also be charged with driving under the influence
of drugs or alcohol. The source said DMX ran a security gate during the
incident. A lawyer for the rapper was aware of the arrest but declined
to comment, saying, "We don't know the actual facts as of yet." Read more.
June 25, 2004 - The Associated
Press reports DMX was arrested on charges that he and another man tried
to steal a car in a parking lot at Kennedy Airport, authorities said. DMX
and Jackie Hudgins were arrested at about 8:10 p.m. Thursday, authorities
said. Port Authority police interrupted a dispute between Simmons, Hudgins
and another man whose car they allegedly tried to steal, the Port Authority
