reports that 4 people were stabbed backstage at the Ruff Ryders/Cash Money
Show in Boston's FleetCenter on April 3. Another was hit over the head
with a bench. The crowd of 5,000 was told to leave afterwards before DMX
was able to play but didn't riot. Refunds were issued.

15, 2000 - Little X is directing the video for DMX and Aaliyah's Get
Back in One Piece from the soundtrack on Romeo Must Die. They
filmed it in DMX's hood in Yonkers and Mount Vernon. Little X told Sonicnet
"I'm just trying to shoot DMX's hood, an area that he's from, because when
you do a street joint, it has to be authentic."
April 9, 2000 - DMX is nominated
in Wednesday's Online Hip-Hop Awards. The event will be held in New York
at the Cipriani.
March 27, 2000 - DMX is on
the cover of the new Rolling Stone, and he's asked about Tupac and he gets
pissed about it, plus he talks about Romeo Must Die, so be sure
to check it out.
March 24, 2000 - DMX was
named in an arrest warrant from town court after failing to appear for
traffic charges in Cheektowaga, New York. The charges were possession of
marijuana, failing to signal a lane change, and driving with a suspended
permit.
March 20, 2000 - DMX will
be featured in Romeo Must Die which opens Wednesday, March 22nd.
The film stars Jet Li.
March 4, 2000 - DMX is awarded
Entertainer Of The Year at the 14th Annual Soul Train Music Awards in Los
Angeles.
March 1, 2000 - DMX appeared
on Queen Latifah to talk about his difficult life and performed his hit
songs Party Up as well as And Then There Was X.
February 12, 2000 - DMX appears
on Saturday Night Live in support of his new album.
February 2, 2000 - The Human
Society issued a press release denouncing the DMX video What's My Name
for glamorizing dog fighting.
