August 30, 2000 - SOHH.com
is speculating that Khugo of Goodie Mob is taking a stab at Ruff Ryders
and DMX on the track Y'all Scared (Outkast) where he raps "We live
like Kings, and die like fuckin men / I don't care how rough you roll,
we can't be shut down / Ain't no openin up shop, we already established
/ You lap doggin, we boss hoggin"

August 3, 2000 - DMX was
named in Vibe magazine's 100 Most Influencial People, Places, and Things
where they said of him, "...when X gets on the mike, in that unmistakable
voice, that strangely mdelodic gravelpit bark-it's victory or death. His
confessional, intensely personal words are often spoken directly to God.
His solemn prayers are those of a man who sees his grave at the end of
the road before him. DMX, Hip hop's heart of darkness."

July 4, 2000 - Lost in Eminem's
troubles with Christina Agulera and ICP, perhaps there's a fued closer
to home with DMX. Poster's on Usenet are aguing weather the lyrics in DMX's
Party Up are a stab at Em, where he says, "...but I'm not him, aight slim?
So watch what you do Or you gon' find yourself, buried next to someone
else" and "You wack, you're twisted, your girl's a hoe You're broke, the
kid ain't yours, and e'rybody know." Leading more fuel to the fire is Eminem's
track on the Marshall Mathers title song "the son of a bitch won't quit
barking" where he proceeds to bark afterwards. Coincidence?
