is reporting that DMX will join the Xzibit
Anger Management Tour after all for an as-yet-undetermined number
of dates.

28, 2000 - Vibe is out comparing DMX with Tupac, saying "Though both DMX
and Tupac have felt the bite of the law, the two share a more important
quality; Both strike a chord with today's alienated, multihued youth. And
both love their dawgs..."
September 27, 2000 - DMX
cheats on his wife? Well a slim majority of 50.4% of you say yes in our
most recent poll, out of 956 total votes. Speaking of Slim, the new poll
asks if you think DMX is dissing Em in Party up... Before you vote, listen

September 26, 2000 - DMX
was dropped off the Xzibit Anger Management Tour
apparently without explanation, as the cast will be Eminem, Limp Bizkit
, and Papa Roach.

26, 2000 - DMX is going to start a new label under Def Jam, which will
be called Bloodline Records. DMX will release his forth solo album on December
26th.
September 23, 2000 - A jersey
worn by DMX will be featured at a museum exhibit entitled Hip-Hop Nation:
Roots, Rhymes, and Rage, which opened Friday at the Brooklyn Museum of
Art.
September 23, 2000 - DMX
will be on hand and performing at the the fifth anniversary of the original
Million Man March dubbed the Million Family March, on Oct. 16 in Washington,
D.C.
September 16, 2000 - DMX
will be the subject of an autobiography to be published by HarperEntertainment
to be released in Fall 2001. Entitled DMX: A Dogz Life, the book will be
written by veteran music journalist Smokey D. Fontaine. Michael Morrison,
Publisher of HarperEntertainment said of DMX, "We are pleased to be able
to bring the story of DMX who, despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles,
has changed his life and now seeks to bring his positive influence to others."
September 7, 2000 - Roger
Friedman of Foxnews reports that DMX will be a no-show at the VMAs because
"he was in some kind of trouble with the law." In his place will be Nelly.
MTV execs got little sleep as DMX was a no-show to rehearsals Wednesday
before they found out he wasn't coming.
September 2, 2000 - DMX will
appear in the documentary Backstage which hits theaters next week. The
film takes an intimate look at the 1999 Hard Knock Life tour, which featured
Jay-Z, DMX, Method Man, Redman, and Ja Rule. Jay Z said of the film "It
gives you more the personality of a DMX, of a Jay-Z, of a Redman, a Method
Man, more so than just going to a show, and we're onstage and then we leave
the stage. You hear the music, but these are the things we do behind stage
— the feelings, the emotions and all that. Being onstage takes an hour,
but there's 23 other hours."
September 2, 2000 - A poster
of DMX is bidding on eBay. The poster (item #426285494) is currently bid
at $7.50 and ends September 8th.
