Writer John Oliver said, "He's in practically every scene of this three-hour epic, and he manages to keep the audience members glued to their seats for the entire time. That definitely deserves some recognition!"

February 24, 2002 - The Sun reports Elijah Wood celebrated his 21st birthday by throwing up in the bathroom of West Hollywood's Sloan's Bar. An insider revealed, "He was a real mess."

February 24, 2002 - The Globe reports Elijah Wood is devastated after losing the phone number of exotic beauty Madeleine Sami after he and co-stars caught one of her stage shows in New Zealand. An insider said, "Elijah was blown away by Madenleine and would do anything to see her again."

February 21, 2002 - Mandy Moore gave fans on her message board the scoop earlier and now Variety confirms the 'Try Seventeen' lineup that will include Moore, Elijah Wood, and Franka Potente. The film is being put out by Millennium Films and will begin shooting in March where Jeffrey Porter will direct the script written by Charles Kephart.

February 15, 2002 - Mandy Moore posted an update on her message board last night to reveal her shock over the success of 'A Walk To Remember' and insisted that she's not dating co-star Shane West. After wishing the couple and singles a happy Valentine's Day, Mandy broke news that she'll be starring in an independant film called 'Try Seventeen' with Elijah Wood.
