26, 2004 - Director Peter Jackson and his cast of 'The Return of the King'
came to Tokyo to attend the final premiere of their world tour. It is the
last time the 'Lord of the Rings' team will walk the red carpet. Elijah
Wood said that his hobbit experience has impacted significantly on his
life: "I've never felt an experience of making a movie to be more of a
life experience - and somehow a movie was made in the process - than this.
The last four years of my life have been so devoted to this project and
to thesepeople more importantly so that the way I look upon these movies
is the experiences with this team, and living in New Zealand and all the
memories that I will be able to share with these people for the rest of
my life," Elijah Wood, who plays the diminutive hero of the film, said
at a newsconference at a Tokyo hotel on Wednesday (January 21). Watch a

York Post reports Elijah Wood and Billy Boyd stood on line like mere mortals
to pur chase their tickets to the the Broadway hit 'Avenue Q', and were
given special treatment when they went backstage after the show. "They
couldn't have been more uncelebrity-like," said a rep for the show. "They
were so great, we let them play with the puppets backstage. Lots of celebrities
ask to do this, but we've never let anyone until now."

Daily Record reports Elijah Wood is constantly being pestered by fans to
show the famous tattoo he and his fellow Middle Earth actors had done to
mark their epic movie-making experience. A source says: "The problem is
that Elijah's tattoo is near his hip, just below the waist.He thinks a
lot of female fans know this and ask to see his tattoo just as a way to
get him to flash his underwear. Guys are just as bad most of the time."

York Post reports Elijah Wood and his 'Lord of the Rings' co-star Billy
Boyd hit the Scores strip club at 2 a.m. Tuesday with two horny hobbits
and, says a witness, "They didn't leave until the lights went on." Wood
and company tossed back Heinekens and were surrounded by about a dozen
topless dancers. When one exceptionally cute waitress named Nicole grabbed
Wood's eye, he invited her to sit down with him, saying, "You're really
pretty." He finally rolled out at 4:30.
