April 28, 2004 - Ted Casablanca of E! Online reports Elijah Wood is helping give headline-blitzed and put-upon crew and cast members a bit of a mental break. Filming of 'The Yank'--starring Wood, Charlie Hunnam and Claire Forlani, among others--in London has been hindered by creative challenges and set snafus, not to mention typically badgering Brit journalists, who stalk the set and send many of the actors into major upset moods. Apparently, Wood's performance is so "amazing," folks are encouraged to get back to work.

April 19, 2004 - Us Weekly reports Elijah Wood was spotted eating a plate of fries at Fat Boys Dinner in London's Canary Wharf.

April 4, 2004 - Popbitch.com reports that while Elijah Wood is in London filming a movie called 'Hooligan', he and co-star Charlie Hunnan watched the Chelsea-Arsenal Champions League game last week together in a London pub. People at the next table report that Elijah and Charlie supported Chelsea but spent most of the time talking about their favourite porn moments. Elijah recounted all the golden showers he'd seen, while Charlie loudly described a memorable shitting-in-the mouth scene.
