Free Press reports residents of Highland Park are protesting a plan by
producers of Eminem's new film to burn down an abandoned home in the neighborhood.
"We are very concerned about burning in Highland Park. This is not a good
image," said the Rev. Julius Hope, pastor of New Grace Missionary Baptist

Germaine Greer who admits to being a big fan of Eminem. She said of Slim,
"I love Eminem, he's brilliant. Although Dr Dre is even more brilliant.

November 24, 2001 - There's
now an official site for Eminem's new video at slimshadyvideo.com, which
includes video stills from the DVD and VHS versions of the flick that they're
selling for $14.99.

reports Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit is still feeling burned by the D12-Eminem
track 'Girls'. Seems Durst is plottin revenge by collaborating on a track
that will diss Eminem with the help of Fred's new signee, a rapper named
DZK.

The New York Daily News reports Courtney Love has cooled off after producers
of the Eminem cartoon DVD have promised to cut the Kurt Cobain headless
bit Love had threatened to sue over the insult of her late husband.

100 Greatest Albums Eminem's "The Marshall Mathers LP" ranks at number
18. Dido, who features on the album track 'Stan', voted it as her favorite.
Eminem was also on talking about NWA's 'Straight Outta Compton.'

Murphy was on with Jay Leno Wednesday night and was gushing about Eminem
saying, "He's a sweetheart. He really is. He's a good, younganan. He's
a really good man. He's a great father and an exceptional actor."

Shady Show.' The cartoon shows her husband Kurt Cobain with half his face

Mirror reports Destiny's Child singer Beyonce Knowles is denying reports
that she and Eminem are dating and brought up a magazine she saw with doctored
photos trying to convince otherwise. Beyonce said, "I was flicking through
a magazine and there was this picture I could not believe. They took my
head and Eminem's head and put them on the bodies of two people spanking
each other. I'm not kidding. I'm sure Eminem must have been just as sickened
as I was."
November 16, 2001 - The Sun
is reporting Eminem and his film co-star Kim Basinger have been spotted
kissing on the set of their new film. An insider revealed, "Everyone’s
talking about them. Every time they stroll off together the tongues start
wagging. They’ve been coming and going from the set together, holding hands,
walking arm-in-arm and had hands all over each other for weeks now." Read

Sherman of the Boston Herald reviewed the Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg starring
'The Wash', which incidently includes an uncredited cameo appearance by
Eminem, who plays a disgruntled former employee who's only shown in darkness,
hooded or from a distance. As for the movie, Sherman says, "'The Wash'
might not be the most obnoxious comedy of the year or even the most unfunny.
But it might be the most depressing. This sluggish vehicle for rappers
Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg is so lacking in comic juice that, much of the time,
it's hard to believe it's even trying to be funny." Read more.

of Warren, Michigan have been dealing with the production of Eminem's new
autobiographical movie, "The Marshall Mathers Life Story." Resident Mike
Battaglia told ClickOnDetroit.com, "They are going a little overboard with
the security. I'm trying to go to the store and cops say I can't go past
here, past there, because they are filming. It's crazy." Others though

reports the collaboration between D12 and the Gorillaz is set to hit the
respective bands' official websites by the end of the month. Gorillaz animated
member Murdoc said of working with D12, "Working with D12 was a reassuring
experience. I like their work ethic -- turn up en masse to the studio with
a whole bunch of good looking girls, bags of grass, champagne and sweets.
And just laying it down, baby."

grabbed the Best Hip Hop Act award at the 2001 MTV Europe Awards in Frankfurt
on Thursday but wasn't able to pick it up in person. Slim told the crowd
by taped message, "I'm sorry I couldn't be there, I'm on the set of my
new movie right now, so I'm kinda busy doing that and I'm in the studio.
So I'm juggling both things right now, so thank you for this award and
hopefully I'll be back next year."
November 7, 2001 - According
to Variety, Taryn Manning will be cast as Eminem's girlfriend in the upcoming
semi-autobiographical picture now entitled, "Fight Music." This obviously
conflicts with earlier reports that Brittany Murphy was to play the part.
No word on Murphy's status in the film.

Mekhi Phifer has divulged he is impressed with the acting ability of Eminem
admitting, "I was sceptical because I only like to work with serious actors.
But after we met and I saw how passionate Eminem was about the movie, I

for the 1st Top Of the Pops Awards were announced and Eminem got 1 nomination

and Dido were nominated for 'There's No "I" in Team (Best Collaboration)'
at this year's My VH1 Music Awards. The event will take place at the Shrine
