January 29, 2002 - Limp Bizkit
frontman Fred Durst came in to visit the Howard Stern Show studios Monday
morning to promote the bands guitar tryouts which are currently in going
on in New York. A caller asked him about the beef with Eminem, and he talked
about how Slim was made because he wanted Fred and DJ Lethal to help on
a diss track against Everlast, but they said no. Fred said he was disappointed
about it but that he didn't really want to war with Eminem since he is
the master of that form of music, and he kinda felt honored about being
dissed by Eminem. Read more.

27, 2002 - Jonathan Takiff of the Philadelphia Daily News profiled the
continuing tend of pop stars crossing over into film. Takiff examined the
successes and failures of Mandy Moore, Eminem, Mariah Carey, *NSYNC, Britney
Spears, and Madonna. Takiff said, "Even though 'Glitter' and 'On the Line'
bombed badly at the box office and soundtrack chart, and the advance word
on Spears' road trip isn't promising much besides the chance to see the
pop queen in a wet T-shirt, these low-budget films are all likely to recoup
their relatively slight investments through home video, airline and TV
showings." Read more.

Dilated Peoples talked with HOT 104 about the beef that erupted between

bad blood and that they've even received calls from D12 since then, "It's
not like we're going to be buddy buddy and sh*t. If I saw [Eminem], I probably
wouldn't even speak to him. Plus, I wouldn't even recognize [D12] anyway.
If I saw 6 or 7 black guys crowded around Eminem, I'd probably think it
was D12. I don't even know what they look like really." Read more.

not." The producer also said Slim was a "disciplined workaholic" and "a
sweet guy."
