April 28, 2002 - Just in case you don't have a file swapping program and haven't heard the new Eminem track 'Without Me', the Radio 1 website has the track available as a stream, and listener opinions on the track as well. Check out both here.

April 28, 2002 - Well there seems little doubt that Interscope is behind the leak of all the tracks off of 'The Eminem Show'. Problem is, each of the tracks are about 4-5 minutes of each song's chorus looped. This actually is a smart move from the label's perspective, as you're going to have what amount to phony cuts that most people aren't going to delete that will have fans tricked as to which is the real track to download when the disc does come out. The only tracks that appear to be left out are what would likely to be intro tracks (ie. track 1) or tracks so short they can't be looped. Read on for a tentative track listing. Read more.

April 28, 2002 - The song that has Eminem duelin' with Dr. Dre and puttin' Jermaine Dupri on blast has been leaked to the internet... Amongst the jibes taken at JD include being called a "midget", being labeled "mini-me", and the previously revealed - "Over 80 million records sold and I ain't had to do it without 10 or 11 year olds." Read on for the complete lyrics. Read more.

April 28, 2002 - The lyrics to Eminem's new single 'Without Me' have emerged. Amongst those mentioned in the lyrics include Elvis Presley, Dick Cheney and wife, Chris Kirkpatrick, Limp Bizkit bastards, Moby, and Prince. Read on for the lyrics. Read more.

April 27, 2002 - MTV News has a few more details on Eminem's new single, which takes shots at *NSYNC's Chris Kirkpatrick, Limp Bizkit, and Moby. As for Moby, Em raps that at 36, Moby is too old to be in tune with what people want to hear and that "nobody listens to techno." Meanwhile, Eminem's album 'The Eminem Show' will apparently include a bonus DVD for the first two million copies sold - no doubt an effort to get a huge opening weekend of sales for the disc. April 27, 2002 - The Sun quotes Eminem talking about life without drugs following his probation for a gun charge - which he says has been a blessing: "I’m able to do things I couldn’t do a couple of years ago without freaking out – like trying to take care of my little girl, doing the daddy things, trying to make music and do the Press."

April 27, 2002 - Moby, who keeps a daily running diary on his official website, has reacted to the Eminem diss on his new track 'Without Me'. Moby said, "I'm so amused. Apparently Eminem disses me on his new single. I haven't heard it yet, but I do think it's very funny that he's singled me out as an object of his scorn. The weird thing is that I actually do think that Eminem has skills as an mc, but it disturbs me that he glorifies homophobia and misogyny in his songs, especially seeing as his listeners are, for the most part, very impressionable 10 year old boys." He adds that he's honored by the diss, and won't be dissing him back. Read more.

April 26, 2002 - Access Hollywood has a video to the brief chat that host Pat O'Brien had with Eminem where he talked about his new album and move to acting. Slim said of 'The Eminem Show', "This one is probably the most personal that I've gotten so far. The first single is comical. It's got some funny stuff or whatever. There are probably less songs on this CD that are funny... more of them are to the point and represent a period in time when I was going through difficult things in my life or whatever." Check out a transcript or watch the video to the interview here.

April 26, 2002 - Access Hollywood host Pat O'Brien shared his thoughts on spending the day recently with Eminem and Paul McCartney. Pat said, "More than a lot of people, he likes to have fun with his image. For example the entire homophobic episode was a joke that, in reality, got out of hand. Hanging out with Em on his set, there couldn't be a nicer guy, really or a busier one... new CD, movie projects, videos and living his life. It's a true experience to be part of his inner circle for an afternoon because it's really no different from what everybody else does. He works hard. He breaks for lunch, hangs out with his friends and goes home at night." Read more.

April 24, 2002 - The New York Daily News spoke with Eminem's rep Dennis Dennehy for his thoughts on 'The Face' magazine recoloring his red tank top pink. Read more.

An insider said, "The final resolution was for the record label to pay to have the magazine reprinted with the red tank top. But the issue has already hit the UK newstands with the pink shirt." Read more.

Someone decided to take the chorus from the track and just repeat it for nearly five minutes, but at least you get a sample of the debut single off 'The Eminem Show'. It probably was leaked by Interscope to dilute the track when the authentic one emerges.

The rapper had mixed feelings about the label saying, "On one hand, it’s cool, 'cause I’m down with Slim and everything, we’re cool and we do tough records together. On the other hand, it feels like sh*t 'cause sooner or later an artist comes to the point where he likes to be taken seriously as an only person, as himself. You wanna be defined by yourself, your music and everything, not by collabos together with someone else." Read more.

April 18, 2002 - If you watched the mtvICON special last night, you no doubt saw Eminem and Dr. Dre giving props to Aerosmith and playing a bit of his 'Dream On' remake of Aerosmith's biggest hit - which is set to appear on 'The Eminem Show'.

April 11, 2002 - Jessica Suarez of the Arizona Daily Wildcat spoke with Princess Superstar about the comparisons she receives to Eminem, where she's often dubbed 'Feminem'. The rapper said, "I think he's a great lyricist, but I think what I do is a lot different from what he does. I add elements of electronica punk rock to my music. This is already my fourth album. I play instruments and produce and sing. I'm more than just an MC. I think it's a real lazy comparison. I think it comes off of people hearing just one song like 'Babysitter,' or something like that. But at the end of the day, he is a great lyricist, so it's also a compliment." Read more.

If I was then I'd have Backstreet Boys, fu**ing *NSYNC, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera all over my album. There's no real reason why I don't like those people. I don't know any of them. I just don't like their music. People tell me 'Oh Elton John is a fag, you shouldn't like his music', fu** that. So what if he's a fag? There's Elton John songs I love to tears. Same with George Michael. He masturbates in public, that doesn't stop him from making great songs." Read more.

As for whether Slim will be having a new sound on the disc, Dre said, "Well, I do feel he has matured as a lyricist, but I don't know if [saying he's] moving in a different direction is accurate," Dre said. "His stuff is really crazy to me because just when you think, 'OK, he has run out of stuff to say, he can get no crazier than this,' something comes out of his face that gives you chills or something. Makes the hair crawl on your skin. So I think the shock value of Eminem is definitely gonna still be there, but it's just getting better." Read more.
