September 28, 2003 - Dido's
determination was famously rewarded when Eminem used her cold tea-referencing,
'Thank You' for the basis of his global smash, 'Stan'. In doing so, he
delivered Dido's elegant melancholy to an audience far beyond her wildest
imagination. "I've never felt any shame in the fact that so many went off
and bought my record because they heard 'Stan' - it's funny how some people
try to imply I should have. I just don't think it matters where you first
hear music if you like it," she tells the London Independent. "Besides,
it was funny hanging out with Eminem and Dr. Dre. Dr. Dre's my hero - I
was just like an excited kid. It was freaky hearing them tell me how much
they loved my record - and if they helped my music cross over into a whole
new market, then wicked!" Read more.

26, 2003 - Ratethemusic.com reports Sharon Osbourne admits nothing would
please her more than a studio chat with Eminem on her new talk show. "I'm
dying to talk to him," Sharon said. "He's my boy. I love him. I like him
because he's edgy and he's real and he doesn't pretend to be something
he's not. I just like him. He doesn't talk to a lot of people and I wanna
bring him in here and kiss him and smack him around a bit."

Live),' the first single from the upcoming 'Tupac: Resurrection' soundtrack.

rhyme for the first verse. The 'Tupac: Resurrection' soundtrack comes out
on November 4th and features four new Tupac songs in all as well as a slew

September 23, 2003 - While
Dido is thankful for the sales explosion Eminem provided her by sampling
'Thank You' for his 2001 hit 'Stan', the two don't keep in close touch.
"We weren't really sort of phoning each other on a regular basis in the
first place," Dido said. "I saw him, probably, like, a year and a half
ago, or something like that. But if he was in the same place. [If] I found
out he was in the same hotel, then, you know, I would totally go and say
'Hi,' 'cause apart from anything, I really like--not only did I like him,
but I really liked all the people he works with. They were so sweet to
me."
September 23, 2003 - Launch.com

September 21, 2003 - A 70-year-old
grandmother has filed a lawsuit against Eminem and his record labels for
allegedly using a clip from a composition by her late husband on a 1999
song. The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court alleges the Grammy-winning
rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, used a clip from composer
Ronald Stein's 'Pigs Go Home' in his song 'Guilty Conscience' from 'The

September 14, 2003 - If Eminem
is the head of the Shady household, D12 are the rowdy cousins and 50 Cent
is the bad-boy brother, then Obie Trice is the newborn baby. But just because
he's a new addition doesn't mean he's not loyal to the unit, especially
when it comes to the beef between the Shady camp, Ja Rule and Benzino/The
Source's embargo on positive ink for Shady artists. "I don't think The
Source will ever get with us because of the Benzino thing [Benzino is part-owner
of The Source]," he tells Shannon McCarthy of Get Real Detroit. "I think
that's just totally over with. They might not even deal with me as far
as putting my album in there or getting a review, you know what I mean?"
To Trice, being faithful to Eminem and the posse is more important than
being on the cover of some magazine. "I roll with my crew. Unfortunately,
this had to happen when I came to the game," he said. "I grew up on The
Source, but if they want to fu** with us, fu** them. We got to move on."

September 9, 2003 - Spin
magazine quotes Eminem saying, "Like that cloning thing they're doing --
they should hurry that up. Then I'd be able to do movies and rap and produce
at the same time and run a label and rip my hair out."
September 7, 2003 - YM magazine
recently caught up with Sarai for a Q&A session and asked the 22-year-old
rapper if she likes being referred to as 'Feminem' or is insulted by the
term. "I was totally flattered, but in a way I was like, 'Oh, they're setting
me up'," she responded. "Because I don't want it to seem like I said that
because I didn't, and I don't want people labeling me just because I'm
white. So I'm definitely flattered and if it's for the right reasons then
I'm cool, but if it's just because of the skin, then it's kind of like,
eh." Read more.
