26, 2004 - The Las Vegas Sun reports that when Eminem was at V Bar on Monday
with Interscope Records execs, a woman asked him to rap for her. With that,
Slim proceeded to have the club get him a mike, and he gave an impromptu
performance of several new songs he recorded with the group D12, as well
as several of his most popular solo efforts. V Bar staff blasted the live
performance throughout the casino, which attracted a huge crowd to the
bar, all vying for a chance to catch a glimpse.

Vegas Review Journal has a rundown of Eminem's visit to Las Vegas for the
MAGIC convention this week to promote his Slim Shady clothing line, including
a stint at ghostbar, where a MTV documentary camera crew taped the rapper
telling bargoers: "Free drinks on the house!" Palms hotel owner George
Maloof got stuck with a sizeable tab, "but it was well worth it. This was

reports Eminem, who claims he could fetch more than $10 million for endorsing
a product, is suing Apple Computer Inc. on grounds it used one of his hit
songs in a TV advertisement without permission. Eight Mile Style, music
publisher of the artist whose real name is Marshall Mathers III, filed
the copyright infringement lawsuit last Friday in U.S. District Court in
Detroit. It also names Viacom Inc., its MTV subsidiary and TBWA/Chiat/Day

caught up with Eminem's spokesperson to answer to reports the rapper was
interested in buying Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch. "We don't see him
leaving Detroit anytime soon," the spokesperson said, playfully adding,

reports Eminem has moved out of his $4.8 million mansion in Oakland, Michigan
back to his old Detroit home because "he never felt safe," according to
a source close to the rapper. Because there were no gates around the pricey
property, Slim worried about security. "he has people living in the new
house," the source revealed, "just to look like he's actually living there."

magazine reports Debbie Mathers' car-jacking ordeal was yet another stroke
of bad luck for Eminem's mother, following her diagnosis with breast cancer
a few years ago, a source said. And although she avoided injury during
the crime, the source says that Debbie was subjected to a fusillade of
angry words from her son. "Look bitch, of all the places for this to go
down, Eight Mile Road, where my movie [2002's '8 Mile'] was filmed!" Eminem
allegedly yelled over the phone after learning of his mother's latest misfortune,

reportts Paul Rosenberg revealed that Stat Quo is signed to Shady/Aftermath,
Game has signed to G-Unit/Aftermath and the biggest news: Ice Cube has
signed to Shady/Aftermath! He also gave out some more information on the
upcoming releases this year: Eminem (Late Summer/Early Fall), Stat Quo
(Winter), Lloyd Banks (Aril 27th), 50 Cent (October), Dr. Dre (November)
and a new Xzibit album in July.

is reporting that Eminem has told friends he cannot stand another tough
Detroit winter and is considering buying Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch.
A friend the rapper said, "He also has to think about his daughter. He

Mathers, Eminem's ex-wife, appeared before Judge Ed Servito in Macomb Count
Circuit Court for violating her probation on drug charges on Thursday (February
12) in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Mathers was sentenced to 30 days in jail

Press reports Eminem's ex-wife was sentenced to serve at least a month
in jail Thursday for using cocaine while on probation. Circuit Judge Edward
Servitto ordered Kimberly Mathers to serve 30 days in the Macomb County
Jail and then be transferred to an inpatient substance abuse treatment
program for an additional 90 days. Read more.

Press reports Eminem's ex-wife Kim Mathers was ordered jailed without bond
Friday after admitting to her probation officer that she was using cocaine,
state prison officials said. Mathers, 28, faces up to five years in prison

of Black Music Congress is speaking out on why the likes of Justin Timberlake
of *NSYNC, Christina Aguilera, Eminem, and now British newcomers Joss Stone
and Amy Winehouse have "appropriated" black music. Kwaku says, "Some have
said music should be free and devoid of racial associations. But the reality
is that the marketing of music is intrinsically linked to image, color,
the shape and size of the artist, etc. Also. it's a fact that black artists
generally get less spent on them than comparable white artists. The industry
also seems keener to promote a white artist performing black music than
