April 28, 2004 - Dan Aquilante
of the New York Post reviewed D12's new album 'D12 World', saying the "Detroit
rap crew steps out of the shadow of Slim Shady". Aquilante adds, "Eminem
has a strong, identifiable voice and his fans will clearly hear it on this
disc, but 'D12 World' is a group effort with multi-layered raps among Kon
Artis, Proof, Swift, Kuniva and Bizarre. Rather than falling into the gangsta
trap or the new trend to candy rap and hip-pop, this record smartly carves
out a niche for itself as social commentary through satire." Read more.

28, 2004 - Anonymous writes "MTV News reports that according to Jadakiss,
Eminem will rap on and produce a record for him called 'Welcome to D-Block.'
That track is one of the last additions to Kiss' June 15 'Kiss of Death'
LP. Jada said he's secured Mariah Carey to sing on another song, but is
just waiting for Mariah to lay down the vocals."

April 21, 2004 - While Eminem's
lyrics are full of boasts about his sexual conquests, in reality, he is
a flop in bed, according to his ex-mistress. "I was surprised," says Kesia
Alvarez. "He raps about having this bitch and screwing that one but he
didn't know how to excite a woman. I taught him a lot - an awful lot. He
was like a little virgin boy when I met him... and he was 26 at the time.
A lot of the stuff he raps about is bullsh**." Read more.
April 21, 2004 - Billy Masters
of Filth2go.com reports that during Eminem's UK visit and stay at the Dorchester
hotel, the rapper was seen strutting through the halls shirtless and instead

April 14, 2004 - Star magazine
reports Eminem's uncle Todd Nelson ran into difficulty trying to auction
off drawings by the rapper on March 13th in Chicago. Susanin's Auction
was unable to sell 21 pages of illustrations Slim did of his ex-wife Kim,
Spiderman, and rappers. The lot of 16 pages of lyrics Em wrote before producing
his first album also failed to generate much interest. "We're surprised
the lots failed to sell," said Susanin's Kalon Sarby. "We were looking
for bids [of] at least $5,000 for each lot, and we didn't achieve that."
Nelson said, "After what happened... I decided to keep the items in the
fmaily and pass them down to the kids. [They] will only get more valuable
as the years go by."
April 12, 2004 - The People
reports about 15 women at the Eminem party at Mayfair were eventually selected
by a handful of the bodyguards to go on to a much more-private Dorchester
Hotel gathering after the party broke up around 4 am on Friday. The motives
for the invites prompted one fan from Manchester to get cold feet. "There
were 15 girls and three bodyguards and it was obvious what they wanted,"
she said. "They were going to divvy us up between them. I told one I had
to go to the loo in his room - only to see him then emerge clutching a
fistful of condoms!" She added: "I legged it. And as I ran down the corridor,
a girl came out of another room yelling 'Run'. I couldn't believe it. It
was a nightmare." Read more.
April 12, 2004 - Despite
the legal troubles with ex-wife Kim Mathers and reports of her cheating
on him, Eminem apparently is remaining loyal to her. A party following
D12's gig Shepherd's Bush was held at Mayfair, where only around 40 men
were invited, and 200 stunning women, most of them of the stripping variety.
A spy revealed: "Eminem acted like one big sissy when he saw the scantily
clad girls throwing themselves at him. He immediately got his pal and his
minders to cordon off the library so he could chill on his own." Later
when he went down to a pool area, more ladies were battling for his attention,
but Eminem scurried away. "Eminem was acting like a little boy," an insider
said. "He looked really awkward and nervous. He did shuffle towards the
door but immediately headed back to the library when he saw all the beautiful
girls desperate to get his attention. He kept on looking at his watch and
muttering, 'Can you clear those girls away?'" Read more.
