May 31, 2004 - MTV News reports
that nearly 20 shows have been added to D12's upcoming summer tour, which
kicks off June 19 in Milwaukee and is slated to end in New Haven, Connecticut.
Detroit hip-hop group Slum Village and Southern rapper Bone Crusher will
open the shows for D12, who will be touring without Eminem at the helm.

31, 2004 - Sky News reports Eminem has a deal with Universal to develop
his first big-screen rap musical, which is set in the 1930s. Em and his
posse will play gangsters of the period. The rapper also is set to release
a children's book soon.
May 28, 2004 - Radio 1 reports
that while Eminem was speaking with young people to register to vote at
the Hip Hop Summit in Detroit over the weekend, the rapper said he'd lost
his right to do so three years ago after he was given two years probation
for carrying a concealed weapon. Slim was advised that while other states
take away their power to vote, in the state of Michigan convicted felons
can vote - he just needs to register. His people say they'd always assumed
he couldn't vote and are now going to look into it.
May 28, 2004 - Sara from
the now defunct Da Band, Eminem, MC Search, Reverend Run of Run-DMC, and
Russell Simmons were on hand for the 2nd Annual Hip Hop Summit on Saturday
(May 22) at The Fox Theater in Detroit, Michigan. The Summit was designed

May 20, 2004 - The Associated
Press reports A federal judge says rapper Eminem's copyright infringement
claims over use of his song "Lose Yourself" in a commercial for Apple Computer
Inc. can go forward. Apple featured a 10-year-old boy singing the Oscar-winning
theme song to the rapper's movie '8 Mile' in an ad on MTV for the computer
company's iPod music player and iTunes music service. Read more.
May 20, 2004 - Police are
unsure of the whereabouts of Eminem's ex-wife Kim Mathers after she failed
to show up to a court-ordered drug treatment program on April 6th. A Macomb
County police department detective tells In Touch Weekly magazine: "She's
taken every opportunity the judge has given her and blown it. I reckon
she's going to jail for a long time." The detective says Kim could possibly
serve "one to four years when we get a hold of her." How will this effect
Eminem raising their daughter Hailie? "He'll do the right thing. He always
does," a source close to Slim said. "If it means raising Hailie as a single
parent, he can and he will. He's a good dad."
May 9, 2004 - Hitoppro.com
reports Cam'ron is lashing out at Eminem, stemming from the latest D12
video, '40 oz,' where some would say, Eminem deliberately attacks Cam,
while attempting to recreate a scene from a recent Cam'ron video, 'Get
em Girls'. "See I had no problem with the bitch till he released this video.
It was all gravy until then. Things done changed and he know it," Cam said.
Two tracks have reportedly been leaked to DJ Kay Slay, and are entitled,
'Kill 'Em Cam', and 'My Bitch', which is a freestyle. Read more.
May 5, 2004 - In their smash
video for 'My Band', the members of Eminem's side group, D12, satirize
their plight as lesser known rappers toiling behind an ego-mad superstar.
But the reality isn't always so funny. "If we go out and Eminem's not with
us, people can get mad," group member Kuniva tells Jim Farber of the New
York Daily News. "Some journalists set up interviews with us just to ask

finally drops his long-awaited new solo record later this year, 50 Cent
will run for cover. "My advice to myself, and all others, is to let Em's
release date go by and, after that, we can all come out comfortably," 50
told Inside Entertainment, laughing. "Nothing is safe when that time comes

'D12 World' and asked how they balance having fun and being taken seriously.
"We really have both sides to us like anyone else," Eminem said. "We could
go anywhere with the subject matter. Sometimes we goof around and when
it's called for we get serious or angry. I think we have a good balance

of the Winnipeg Sun reviewed D12's new album 'D12 World', giving it an
impressive 4 out of 5 stars. Sterdan writes, "We're not sure if Eminem
is getting smarter or we're getting stupider. But we do know we dug 'D12
World' -- the sophomore CD from Marshall Mathers and his Detroit homies
