June 25, 2004 - The Chicago
Sun-Times reports Dido believes Eminem is a bit tardy in shelling out the
nearly $2 million he owes her in royalties for use of her song 'Thank You'
in his huge No. 1 hit, 'Stan' and filed suit to get the funds. While Eminem
is not commenting, sources say the he was outraged by the filing, believing
his use of 'Thank You' helped propel Dido herself to headliner status.

21, 2004 - Anonymous writes "Eminem's ex-wife Kimberly Mathers, who has
been missing from a drug treatment facility has been caught at an Ann Arbor
Hotel on Tuesday (June 15). There was a tip that led police to that hotel
where they confronted her after seeing her leave the pool area. She will
be turned over to Macomb County Sheriff. Read more."

June 14, 2004 - Eminem attended
game three of the 2004 NBA Finals between the Detroit Pistons and the Los
Angeles Lakers on Thursday (June 10) at the Palace of Auburn Hills, in
Auburn Hills, Michigan. The Pistons topped the Lakers 88-68 to take a 2-1

June 14, 2004 - Eminem's
brother Nate Mathers tells In Touch Weekly that in addition to recording
tracks in his new studio, he's got acting aspirations. "I've always wanted
to be an actor," Nate said. "He says eh's negotiating with studio execs
and fielding offers. Asked what kind of roles he'd like to play, the 18-year-old
said, "I could basically be anything, because I've got the talent."
June 10, 2004 - Ash bass
player Mark Hamilton spoke with Top of the Pops' website in a Q&A about
various pop acts, and was asked for his thoughts on who he's liking in
the charts right now. "Erm, I don’t really listen to the charts.....Oh
yeah, I love the D12 song ['My Band'] – it’s great - really catchy," he
said. "And the video is particularly brilliant. It’s great that they can
take the mick out of themselves. It’s a brilliant way to get round that

Eminem bought kid brother Nathan, who lives at his mansion in Detroit,
an $18,000 home recording studio for his 18th birthday. "He’s an inspiration
to me. We've always been very close and when I need help he helps," Nathan
said. "He got me the equipment I needed to create a studio in my room because
he knows I want to do music too." Read more.

previous poll asking which rapper has the most talented crew saw 41.2%
vote for 50 Cent's G-Unit, while his Interscope labelmate Eminem was second
with his D12 crew, getting 20.5%. Nelly's St. Lunatics edged out Cam'ron's

June 3, 2004 - Globe magazine
spoke with Eminem's mother Debbie Mathers, who is battling breast cancer
and has wasted away to only 84 pounds. She says at this point in her battle
against the deadly disease, she says some kind words from her son would
do her far more good than any financial help the rapper could provide.
"I dont' want his money," Debbie insisted. "A lot of pepole say I'm really
dying from a broken heart. It would be wonderful if he just called me."
She added, "All I want is his respect and I don't think that's asking too
much. God knows if something happened to Marshall, I'd be the first one
there."
