August 23, 2004 - MTV News profiled the planning that goes behind making videos, citing Hugh Surratt, vice president of marketing and creative at RCA. "[Eminem] is very hands-on, which is a pleasure, because his ideas are fantastic," Sosin said. "He's so creative. And he's open to input too. We were talking about the beginning of 'My Band' and he wanted to do the massage. And we said, 'Maybe you should be in a tanning bed.' And he was like, 'Absolutely! Naked!' It's that kind of stuff." August 23, 2004 - Star magazine reports that after being in jail for nearly two months, Kim Mathers has yet to be visited by ex-husband Eminem nor their daughter Hailie. "Marshall feels it would traumatize Hailie to see her mother behind bars," Em's uncle Todd Nelson revealed, "having to talk to her through a window and now being able to even touch her mommy." Despite feeling "abandoned", a source said Kim is vowing to turn her life around and win back the trust of her loved ones. "She vowed to straighten herself out and stay clean," the source said. "She's eager to stick to a rehab program to get the help she needs."

August 23, 2004 - A source at Walt Disney Worlds Ritz Carlton Orlando tells Us Weekly that Eminem, his daughter Hailie, and Dr. Dre were denied dinner at the Ritz restaurant because Em and Dre were so "rude and obnoxious." The source revealed, "Their bodyguards threw one of the waiters into a plant, causing him to fall on the floor. We said we didn't need their business. Plus they were dressed terribly!"

August 9, 2004 - Star magazine reports that Eminem is set to play a boxer in an upcoming remake of the 1939 movie 'Golden Boy'. The rapper has already started training with one of Lennox Lewis' old trainers, Emanuel Steward. "I put him through his paces and I was amazed that he was as good as he was," Steward said. No scheduled release date has been set.

August 9, 2004 - Cindy Adams of The New York Post quotes Eminem stating: "I'm putting money in the bank. One day when I retire, I'll take out $1 million in cash and take a bath in it."

July 26, 2004 - Anonymous writes "Fat Joe's Terror Squad is currently receiving alot of press and radio airplay as their current single 'Lean Back' is becoming very popular and with Remy Martin's verse added to it has made it very appealing. On the brink of releasing their sophomore album titled True Story, Remy Martin has informed us that there is a big remix of their current single 'Lean Back' coming out. It was rumored that the remix would feature Mase and Jadakiss on it. According to Remy, Jada probably won't be on there, but instead replaced by another big name that you might not expect. July 19, 2004 - The Associated Press reports Sirius Satellite Radio has teamed up with Eminem -- along with his label, Shady Records, and Interscope Records -- to create "a cutting-edge hip-hop music and lifestyle channel," it was announced Monday. Eminem's DJ Green Lantern will host a weekly show while Eminem himself and other Shady Records artists also will host occasional shows that will include call-in segments. Read more.
