Jackson released the following statement on Tuesday (October 19) regarding
Eminem's new video 'Just Lose It': "It has been recently reported that
Michael Jackson will be attending a press conference on Thursday in New
York, urging the hip-hop community to stand by him in speaking out about
Eminem's video. Michael Jackson will not be attending this press conference."

October 25, 2004 - Neil Sean
of Sky News hears that Madonna has instructed her lawyers to try to get
the offending scenes in Eminem's new video 'Just Lose It' removed as she
feels it's damaging to her image. Eminem, already under heat from Eminem
and allegedly Paul Ruebens of Pee Wee Harman fame, has told her she needs
to get a sense of humor.
October 25, 2004 - The Mirror
reports that Eminem was is devastated after Todd Nelson, the uncle who
he regarded as his dad, committed suicide. Nelson had become depressed
over a sheriff's rottweiler which was allegedly terrorizing his family
and shot himself in the head. "This news has hit Marshall hard. It will
bring back all the memories of losing Ronnie," a family friend revealed.
"To lose two uncles at such a young age is terribly sad, especially as
his father has never been around. The fact they both committed suicide

to SOHH.com's Pulse Report, Paul Reubens of 'Pee Wee Herman' fame is preparing
a lawsuit against Eminem after being spoofed in 'Just Lose It'. Eminem

October 25, 2004 - The New
York Post reports Michael Jackson is joining forces with Source magazine
owners David Mays and Ray Benzino after Eminem made fun of Jacko in his
'Just Lose It' video. A press conference on Thursday by the three will
"urge the hip-hop community to stand by [Jackson]," according to a rep
for Source. Jackson is also expected to "speak about Eminem's video which
he will deem racist and dangerous to the black community and thank the
Source for calling out Eminem," the rep added. The Source is also putting
Jackson on the cover of its next issue.
October 18, 2004 - Michael
Jackson's spokeswoman Ramone Bain tells The Chicago Sun-Times that Eminem's
new video 'Just Lose It' "exceeds what anyone could consider a satire or
a spoof. This is malicious and totally insensitive." Read more.

Michael Jackson voiced his displeasure with Eminem and his new video 'Just
Lose It' in an interview with Steve Harvey on Tuesday. "I am very angry
at Eminem's depiction of me in his video ['Just Lose It']," Jacko told
the radio host. "I feel that it is outrageous and disrespectful. It is
one thing to spoof, but it is another to be demeaning and insensitive."

October 18, 2004 - After
being dissed in Eminem's new music video for 'Just Lose It', Michael Jackson
is fighting back, his rep said on Monday. "Michael Jackson is very angry.
He feels that Eminem has crossed the line," Jackson's rep Ramone Bain told
The New York Daily News. "Michael is calling upon all networks to pull
the video," said Bain. Black Entertainment Television is expected to announce

October 4, 2004 - Jeannette
Walls of MSNBC.com reports that Eminem is appearing as Madonna as she looked
during her Blonde Ambition Tour, according to a source on the 'Just Lose
It' video shoot. Slim Shady will be sporting full make-up, a long ponytail,
and conical bra. "Eminem is really getting into sex and gender issues,"

October 4, 2004 - The Sun
reports that Eminem has turned his back on his roots to buy a Hollywood
mansion. "He will never lose touch with Detroit but Eminem felt it was
time to move to Hollywood," a source revealed. "He's always staying there
for work and has loads of friends in the area. The house is new and comes
fully kitted out but he is employing an interior designer to personalize

October 4, 2004 - NBC has
announced that Eminem will host 'Saturday Night Live' on October 30th,
the night before Halloween. The often-controversial rapper has been the
