July 29, 2005 - The New York Post hears that when Eminem performed at the opening of the House of Blues in Atlantic City, he demanded use of a Gulf Stream 5 jet, 80 hotel rooms for his entourage, 20 buckets of KFC fried chicken and five cases of Yoo-hoo.

July 29, 2005 - "I'm not retiring," Eminem tells MTV News, despite reports from the Detroit Free Press last week that he was. "When I say I'm taking a break, I'm taking a break from my music to go in the studio and produce my other artists and put their albums out. That's called taking a break for me," the rapper said. "When I know my next move, I'll tell everyone my next move. Not some reporter who writes a story about 'This is Eminem's last album.' I never said [Encore] was my last album. I never said anything yet. I don't know what I'm doing yet. Nothing is definite, you know what I'm sayin'? Nothing is written in stone." Read more.

July 19, 2005 - With Natasha Bedingfield including D-12 on her album, a source tells Neil Sean of Sky News that Eminem wants to work with the singer on her sophomore effort. "It's no secret here that Em loves her work and finds her style refreshing," the source said. "They are hoping to hook up and get into the studio before the end of the summer." Read more.

July 19, 2005 - After teaming up on 'Stan', Neil Sean of Sky News hears that Dido and Eminem are talking about teaming up for another original tune. "It would be a song we both write this time so we have double the impact," Dido said. "He's a far greater songwriter than he gives himself credit for and we gel very well in that respect." July 19, 2005 - Eminem plans to make his last solo performance in Ireland in September, the Detroit Free Press, his hometown newspaper, said on Friday. "Em has definitely gotten to the level where he feels like he's accomplished everything he can accomplish in rap," said rapper Proof, Mathers' right-hand man onstage.
