April 23, 2007 - Kim Mathers appeared in Macomb County Circuit Court with her attorney Michael Smith on March 26th in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Mathers' ex-husband, Marshall Mathers, also known as rapper Eminem, filed a motion seeking to prohibit her from making derogatory, disparaging, inflammatory and otherwise negative comments about him in public, claming that her comments could harm the couples' daughter Hailie. March 30, 2007 - The Detroit News reports Eminem is scheduled to appear in Macomb Circuit Court on Monday after filing a motion intended to prevent ex-wife Kim Mathers from disparaging him in ways that he believes could harm their 11-year-old daughter, Hailie. The motion seeks to prohibit Kim Mathers from making "derogatory, disparaging, inflammatory and otherwise negative comments" about him in public, because, the motion claims, her comments would harm Hailie. March 30, 2007 - '20/20' spoke with Kim Mathers, where Eminem's twice divorced ex discussed what went wrong shortly after their January 2006 wedding. "There was a disagreement between me and his brother," Kim explained. "Inappropriate behavior, that his brother had, yes and that's what it was. And the next morning there was a note in the bathroom [from Eminem] that said 'I'm going to the other house, I need to clear my head.' I am still confused about the whole thing. He didn't even come around for a month after that. He didn't come see the kids, he wasn't calling me, he didn't return phone calls, I didn't know what the heck was going on. Then his attorney's assistant comes to the door and serves me papers. Forty days after our marriage, he walks out because of an argument with his brother. We've made it through me being incarcerated, rehabs, different boy friends and girlfriends. There has to be something going on. I just don know what it is." Read more and watch the interview here.
