December 31, 2001 - A poster
on our message board claimed in a post today to have met Jennifer Love
Hewitt while she was filming 'Tuxedo' in Toronto and says, "I saw her so
many times and got to talk to her and her boyfriend," adding "Her boyfriend
is not Enrique and not [LFO's] Rich [Cronin]. I will not say who exactly
because I don't think she wants everyone knowing."

30, 2001 - Launch.com spoke with Enrique Iglesias about the timelessness
of his 'Hero' track in wake of the unfortunate events of September 11 as
the singer admits, "I think nowadays a lot of the music is not based on
the song--it's based on the production. And for me it goes both ways. I
mean you need a good production, but the essence--what makes a song timeless--is
the melody, the lyric, and of course, the production, but it's those three
combined that makes a song timeless."

song of the year. Carey came out on top with her hit, Loverboy, which beat
out the Christina Aguilera, Mya, Pink, and Lil' Kim collaboration, 'Lady

York Daily News reports Enrique Iglesias was spotted hitting on Tara Reid
at Miami club Bed. While Reid flirted a bit with Enrique, she later spurned
him. Iglesias was also spotted putting the moves on Tara during her birthday
party at Eugene in New York, but came away empty handed then as well.

has details of Enrique Iglesias' performance at radio station Z100's annual
pre-holiday concert jamboree, Jingle Ball in New York Thursday. They said
Enrique received "some of the longest and loudest screams of the show".
He told the crowd before singing Hero, "I wrote a song a year-and-a-half
ago for my girlfriend, but now I have no girlfriend." Read more.

of the New York Post briefly mentioned Enrique after his performance at
Jingle Ball in New York Thursday saying, "Enrique Iglesias garnered similar
cheers for his love tune 'Hero,' which has also been recruited as a song
of healing by those affected by the terror attacks on the city."

Daily Double shows Britney Spears' latest effort 'Britney' receiving a
10% jump in sales for the week as she climbs back up 2 to the #4 spot behind
heavyweight Creed and the always popular NOW series and the NOW Xmas special
compilation. Other pop acts in the charts are Enrique slipping to #12,
Shakira holding at #15 and Backstreet Boys' Hits outpacing *NSYNC's Celebrity.
Michael Jackson's Invincible continued to show vincibility, dropping to
#27, just ahead of the Madonna GHV2 album. Mariah's Greatest Hits album
on Columbia debuted so low it may fall of some observer's radars clocking
in at a pathetic #44 with 64,000 sales.
December 9, 2001 - Mariah
Carey, Destiny's Child, Enrique Iglesias, Mandy Moore, Josh Groban, and
Charlotte Church will perform an hour-long CBS television special 'A Home
For The Holidays With Mariah Carey', which is scheduled to air at 8 p.m.
ET on December 21. The show helps raise awareness about adoption. Read

of that heavy wool skullcap at a gas station in the desert in the middle
of the afternoon just leaves us speechless every time."
