October 28, 2002 - The Las
Vegas Review Journal reports Anna Kournikova is fueling speculation that
she is engaged to Enrique Iglesias after she was spotted showing off a
mega-size rectangular rock on her ring finger at Light (Bellagio) on Friday
in the company of Light co-owner Andrew Sasson. Hard Rock's Harry Morton,
and others. A Saudi prince offered to send over a bottle of Crystal Rose,
but Anna graciously declined.

27, 2002 - Enrique Iglesias performed a concert in Romania that was all
playback a while back. The sneaky sound guys recorded his real voice from

Lionel Ritchie set a few ground rules for his duet with Enrique Iglesias
on 'To Love a Woman'. "We had to find a title for two guys to be singing
a love song," Richie laughed. "I said we can't hug each other or hold hands.
We can't even touch ourselves. We had to find something appropriate for
us two guys."

Vegas Review Journal reports Enrique Iglesias and girlfriend Anna Kournikova
were spotted partying in a skybox at Rain, the Palms nightclub, on Saturday
after his show at MGM Grand.

of the Las Vegas Review Journal caught up with Enrique Iglesias and Paulina
Rubio ahead of their show at the MGM Grand Garden arena tonight. Enrique
admits, "I lie all the time." He explains, "It's a way of protecting anything
that's private in my life." Iglesias further states, "For me, it's always
embarrassing when you see celebrities or entertainers spill out all their
life, or their problems, in public. If you got in a fight with your father,
or your mother, or your girlfriend, or whoever it is that's close to you,
wouldn't it be embarrassing to talk exactly why you're in a fight?" Read

Tonight gave Enrique Iglesias a sneak peak at his finished photos for the
new anti-drug calendar for DKNY Jeans which were taken by legendary photographer
Herb Ritts. "Nice. Very nice," Enrique said of his photos. "They capture
my essence, yes."
October 18, 2002 - The Enrique
Iglesias interview in the October issue of Jane magazine has been posted.
Asked about what he's been doing lately, Enrique talked about doing photo
shoots, which isn't something he looks forward to. "I hate photo shoots,"
he admits. "I hate posing and being told by the photographer [ in fake
pretentious voice ], 'Oh, yeah, smile, or do this face, or do this ….'
Shut up. Take the picture. There’s only one thing I like in my job, making

Iglesias checked in with fans on his official website last Friday saying,
"Hi guys It's Enrique, I'm in Mexico on tour. It's been a great week so
far. There is a rumor going around that I was in an accident. Well guess
what? I wasn't, I'm fine, and looking forward to seeing all of you. I get
back to the states next week. See you all soon." Technically, he's right,
his van just got stuck, at least that is what the photos and Mexican press
showed.
October 14, 2002 - The Miami
Herald reports Enrique Iglesias will unveil a new designer disk for AOL's
new Version 8.0 service on Tuesday. The design will by inspired by Miami
Beach and the disk will benefit KIDZCare, a group that supports children
and adolescents infected and affected by HIV and AIDS and their families.

and photos from Elnorte.com on Enrique Iglesias' auto accident on his way
to the Fundidora Park show in Monterrey, Mexico. Rain and rush hour caused
road congestion and a television truck approached Enrique's van for an
interview. Apparently the TV truck blocked the road for Enrique, forcing
them to turn around. The TV truck chased them, and Enrique's van got caught
in the mud, almost turning over. Enrique at first didn't want to exit the
van, but agreed when told the van was stuck. Read more.

Online reports Enrique Iglesias was involved in a truck accident in Monterrey
that almost resulted in a roll-over. Enrique was unhurt, was transferred
to another vehicle, and was able to perform Wednesday at the Audience Fundidora

October 10, 2002 - According
to a posting on Enrique Iglesias' official site, the singer has gotten
on the bad side with some of the media in Mexico after it was learned he
requested 10 rooms at the hotel he is staying at for himself and his entourage.
He also asked that none of the workers at the hotel bother him during his

Enrique Iglesias is trying to cut his bad habit of late night eating at
McDonald's. "I eat McDonald's drive-through at least three times a week
and I eat at like three or four in the morning," he admits. "You get so
hungry at night, so you eat, then you go to sleep and wake up with the
worst feeling." Don't look for any ad deals involving McDonald's and Enrique
anytime soon.

magazine reports Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias were all over each
other in a booth at Morton's restaurant during a recent visit to Toronto.
That changed though when their food arrived. Anna instantly began devouring
her massive porterhouse steak, afterwards she started eating Enrique's
T-bone steak. Anna told the Latin crooner, "Most of my ex-boyfriends each
more than me and you eat like a bird. That's why we are so good together."

wannabe while growing up, thanks to Miami Vice. "You remember those white
suits? I used to wear those with pink shirts when I was about 13 or 14,"

I also wore these horrible, baggy pants called Cavariccis - they were the

of the University of Texas at El Paso special events office expects the
Enrique Iglesias concert at the Don Haskins Center on Sunday to do well,
despite the flood of concerts that have come to the city in recent months.
"(Iglesias) definitely has his fans. And he draws people from Juárez
and Las Cruces, where people don't get to see too many Hispanic artists,"

D. Clark of the Houston Chronicle reviewed the Enrique Iglesias show at
The Woodlands Wednesday night. Clark says while English and Spanish conversation
blended in equal measure in the crowd of 10,000, Iglesias didn't take advantage
of the cross cultural crowd. "Unfortunately Iglesias did not use this opportunity
to cross the cultural divide. His too-short, 75-minute set simply bypassed
Quizas, concentrating mostly on his English dance hits, Clark said, adding,
"Standing in front of a diverse Houston fan base ready to embrace all his
work, Iglesias could have had a historic night. He chose instead simply

reports Enrique Iglesias spoke to the press about being honored for the
best Billboard debut of an all-Spanish album in 'Quizas', where he received
the Platinum Record Award. "It feels good because it's a Spanish album
and I think for once in my career after 'Escape,' I think a lot of Anglo
people that don't listen to Spanish music will listen to this album," said
Enrique.
