at Interscope, Enrique Iglesias is rating pretty high. The Latin singer
wanted a $30,000 limited-edition platinum watch from Über-upscale
Swiss watchmaker Vacheron Constantin, and to celebrate the double-platinum
success of 'Escape', the surprised him with one of the watches-which take
up to eighteen months to make, and only 247 of which are being sold worldwide-for
the holidays. The watch maker had to get Guatemalan president Alfonso Portillo

People reports Enrique Iglesias triggered a fued with Lionel Richie for
a BBC1 taping when he decided to scrap a planned duet with Richie, even
though he had already taken the flight from Los Angeles to London to make
the appearance. Furious Lionel wanted to confront Enrique but the his security
people made sure they didn't meet. Iglesias' spokesman said, "Enrique felt
he had to cancel the duet because he hadn't had time to rehearse." Read

reports Enrique Iglesias left BBC bosses bemused with his ludicrous demands
when he appeared in The Royal Variety Performance, recorded last night.
Iglesias demanded a list of the questions Prince Charles would ask him
when they came face-to-face in the line-up after the show. "It's quite
funny, really," a source said. "Prince Charles just shakes hands and maybe
says the odd word to the performers in the line-up. It's hardly like he's
going to start firing questions at Enrique. He'll be lucky if His Royal
Highness even knows who he is."

has photos of Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias laughing as a pal mooned
passing pedestrians from an upstairs window while they were dining at NOBU
Japanese restaurant in London’s Park Lane. The couple covered up completely
as they left the restaurant, cuddling up in the back seats of a minibus
as it sped off before arriving at their hotel at Hyde Park Corner two hours

on Enrique Iglesias' official message board has posted a portion of the
singer's interview with Germany's BamS magazine. Enrique talks about his
"strictly platonic" (which caused him to laugh saying it) with Anna Kournikova.
Asked what he likes in the Russian stunner, Iglesias said, "I can have
fun with her, I can laugh with her. She is full of energy. She takes part
in everything. She is so exciting - with her I could waterski at 3 o'clock
(in the night). She is cool, she is not arrogant, she is independent -
it is not good, when a woman is financial dependent on her partner." Read
