August 28, 2003 - In a crushing snub to his Russian girlfriend Anna Kournikova, singer Enrique Iglesias insisted they have never been in a serious relationship, and hinted he gets bored with her company. "I hate saying this but I haven't found a girlfriend I want to be with for more than a week at a time," Iglesias admitted to Parade magazine. "I am excited to join forces with Pepsi, which will give me another avenue to bring my music to my fans," Iglesias said. A Pepsi insider explained, "Enrique is perfect for us. He's one of the biggest stars around at the moment, and that is why, unlike some of the people on board, he has been chosen to represent the brand on a global level." Read more.

August 21, 2003 -Enrique Iglesias tells Entertainment Tonight that despite his role in the upcoming movie 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico', making albums is still his first love. In fact, he's hoping his next album will be finished by December. "It's a more personal album," he said. "You put so much love and so much work into it and at the end of the day it all comes down to the fan reaction. But it feels like I've done a pretty creative and personal album." August 21, 2003 - Enrique Iglesias spoke with Access Hollywood confirming his mole was removed, not just covered up with makeup. Iglesias explained that it was removed recently after a doctor told him it could lead to cancer. Iglesias said he hates doctors and knives, so when it was time to remove it, he panicked at the sight of blood, and said he thought the doctor was going to poke his eye out.
