October 29, 2000 - Enrique Iglesias was selected for the My VH1 Music Awards as a finalist for the categories of Man of the Year and Sexxxiest Video in an interactive music awards show which will air live on VH1, November 30th at 9:00 PM (ET) from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. You can vote at VH1.com until the moment of the award being announced.

October 21, 2000 - Enrique Iglesias won the 2000 VH1 Vogue Fashion Award for Most Fashionable Male. The Awards were held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday.

October 21, 2000 - We're hearing that Enrique Iglesias decided not to release Sad Eyes, fearing that it would hurt his image, according to Joanna Malloy on her eYada.com show on Friday.

October 18, 2000 - Cassidey was on the Rush and Malloy show today on eYada.com. She said Enrique was a gentleman and very polite, and that she wouldn't be surprised if he was a virgin. Cassidey says he doesn't believe Enrique when he says he doesn't get hit on a bunch, saying he has a bunch of groupies.

October 16, 2000 - The porn star who was on Enrique's Sad Eyes, Cassidey, was on eYada.com Sunday. She's saying that the video isn't going to be on in the US she's heard but it is playing in Europe.

October 3, 2000 - Enrique is not picky he insists during an interview in Dubai, UAE. The artist reveals, "Qualities (I look for) in a woman? I like anything. That's how picky I am. She's gotta like movies, the beach, sleeping late. Physically, I don't really care ...Anything goes, baby!" He also insists, "The talk of women falling all over me is all hype. There are not 300 women waiting for me when I get home. I just say hel lo to my dog (Grammy) and go to bed."
