is commenting to Launch.com about his cover of Bruce Springsteen's Sad
Eyes, saying "Jimmy knew I was a big fan of Bruce Springsteen. I mean I've
been to so many of his shows--he's amazing. In the beginning I felt a little
like, How am I going to do a Bruce Springsteen song? But I went into the
studio--it never hurts to try--and I liked it and I stuck it in the album."

30, 2000 - Enrique is interviewed on cdnow.com,
where he addresses his relationship with his father, saying the rumors
they aren't close are untrue. Enrique insists, "Not at all. I don't know
where people get that from. I love my family. My family is very important
to me; it's my support. True, I wish I had more time to be with my family,
but everyone understands that this is my career, and I have to work as
hard as I can."

Iglesias' Ritmo Total has been nominated for Best Clip of the Year, Latin,
for the Billboard 2000 Music Video Awards.
September 23, 2000 - Thanks
to efan on the message boards who reports Jennifer Love Hewitt spent nearly
$8,000 and had list of Enrique's clothing sizes, meaning plenty of designer
outfits for her man, including Jil Sander and Yves Saint Laurent apparel.
This according to The Star.

will be performing at this year's GQ Men of The Year Awards, which will
be held Oct. 26 at New York's Beacon Theater. The event will be hosted

first stage producing effort, off-Broadway's "4 Guys Named Joe ... and
Una Mujer Named Maria," opens Monday at the Blue Angel Theater.

reveals that Enrique has admitted "that he hasn't had a snog in four years."
September 12, 2000 - The
New York Post reveals the cast of Enrique's musical production received
a fax from him stating: "Wishing you guys and Maria luck from the fifth
guy who is touring Europe. [Signed] Enrique."

out Enrique's next video Sad Eyes will feature the 19 year old porn star

Daly is interviewed in this month's FHM where he reveals "I went
to a strip club in Atlanta after the Super Bowl, and the guys from 98 Degrees
were there, a couple of guys from *NSYNC, Enrique Iglesias, Christina Aguilera,
every big celebrity... I don't see what the big deal is."

Iglesias was on eYada.com today talking to Joanna Malloy. He claims he
always eats fast foods. He was shocked to hear the globe's article claiming
Whitney was having an affair with him, though he said 'I wish'. He said
it wasn't true. He says not many groupie type women approach him. He says
he writes English and Spanish albums separately, not just translations.

2000 "VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards" Presented live from the Theater at
Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, October 20 at 9:00-11:00

September 2, 2000 - Enrique
Iglesias travelled to Poland to perform before fans for the second time
this year after a private TV station released a video tape suggesting Iglesias
had troubles with live singing during his first visit in February 2000.
