September 22, 2001 - Some Brazilian sites have updated what's going on with Gisele following the collapse of the World Trade Center in New York City as the model's apartment is in Tribeca nearby. She was uprooted and stayed in a shelter. Gisele was later allowed to return and pick up personal objects at her apartment where she found the place covered with dust and smoke. Gisele has since been staying with a friend and pondered going to Brazil.
