December 29, 2000 - The New York Post has comments from Heidi Klum talking about licorice as she explains, "My biggest disappointment coming to America from Cologne was how inferior the licorice is here. I adore European licorice, thick, black and salty. It is so hard . . . There have been days when I ate 50 black licorice candies in one sitting [and] afterwards I could not fit my pants."
