January 30, 2001 - The New York Daily New's Mitchell Fink reports Jennifer Lopez was not in St. Bart's over New Year's as earlier reported but actually in Hawaii with her dancer Chris Judd. Fink says the Judd was by her side when the New Year rung in.

January 25, 2001 - The Star is reporting Jennifer Lopez may be in danger of purjury if she switches the testimony that Puffy wasn't carrying a gun during their shooting incident. She'd already testified to the grand jury that Puffy wasn't armed.

January 25, 2001 - eYada.com's Chaunce Hayden was speculating today that if Puffy and Jennifer truly split, they may turn on each other in court and he reveled at the possibility of pampered Jennifer being sent to jail.

January 25, 2001 - The New York Daily New's Mitchell Fink reports Jennifer Lopez and Puffy have split. After dumping Puffy, Jennifer reportedly is seeing a dancer named Chris who appears in Love Don’t Cost A Thing. Both sides appear to be denying this story and Jennifer is supposed to be on Live with Regis this morning to address the report.

January 24, 2001 - In a news item contrary to our earlier reports that Jennifer Lopez keeps a close eye on the size of her booty, Entertaindom.com reports Lopez admitting, Sometimes I don't want to work out, and I don't for months. Then I feel like, this isn't right, these pants are too tight. I need reassurance, too. I see what I look like in the morning even though you don't." Lopez adds, "I like to eat my mom's food, which is fattening. And I like to eat cookies and cakes and creamy stuff. I don't think it matters if you're not thin. You don't have to be a size zero to look good."

January 22, 2001 - The New York Post's Neil Travis reports Jennifer is managing her own career while Puffy faces gun charges. She tells Travis, "I have work obligations. I have to go on. I can't sit in the house and just worry." Lopez also is banking on a successful summer tour as screen actors and writers will probably be on strike making live acts a popular alternative.

January 22, 2001 - The Post reports the $10 million diamond pendant loaned to her by diamond.com would cause her to wear a low-cut dress at the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles. But as our gallery shows (click the photo to enter), she wasn't wearing the pendant and dressed elegantly presenting an award with Matthew McConaughey. The two presented the award for Original Score to Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard for Gladiator.

January 20, 2001 - Sky.com reports The Wedding Planner director Adam Shankman thought Lopez was too sexy to play the lead, but as Jennifer puts it "I met with him and I dressed more conservative. I wore a little pastel-coloured suit and pair of white pumps and a white button-down shirt." The move must've worked as she landed the role.

January 19, 2001 - Jennifer Lopez was interviewed on the Today and they talked about Matt and Al when posed as Puffy and Jennifer on Halloween. Jennifer claims Puffy's only beef was that he wasn't wearing a hat like Al portrayed.

January 18, 2001 - The New York Post's Liz Smith is reporting that some are speculating that Jennifer Lopez won't be at the Grammys this year because being out of the country makes it more difficult to be subpoenaed in Puffy's court case.

January 15, 2001 - Pagesix.com reports Jennifer Lopez gave Puffy a $40,000 pinkie ring as a sign of her love and support as he stands trial on weapons charges later this month. Read more.

January 15, 2001 - The Sun reports new details on Jennifer's Diva-ish behavior at her Top of the Pops appearance as the host Jamie Theakston bullied him to move out of her way on his own show. Jamie explains, "I was looking at the show's running order and she was walking towards me, surrounded by people. The bodyguard just pointed at me to get out of the way, so that they wouldn't have to change direction. I nearly got into a fight." In addition, Jennifer commented to the Sun on the upcoming trial saying, "As far as the trial is concerned, I just take it day by day. I can't sit in the house and worry. It's a part of my life, but it isn't my life."

January 15, 2001 - Jennifer Lopez was interviewed on Entertainment Tonight . Jennifer revealed that she'll be in Australia promoting her new album during the Grammys so won't be able to provide a sequel to her green Versace dress of last year.

January 15, 2001 - News of the World reports Jennifer Lopez has been working with personal trainer Gunnar Peterson to work on her ass. A Sony record exec told the paper, "She doesn’t want it to go saggy, so she works really hard to keep her muscles toned up. It is her trademark and she isn’t about to let it go."

January 13, 2001 - Jennifer Lopez asked her ex husband Ojani Noa to help decorate a new home she bought in the Hollywood Hills, according to Star magazine. When Puffy heard about this though, he didn't like the idea and picked up the tab himself to have the pros do it.

January 13, 2001 - The Star ran an article centered around Jennifer Lopez "In search of the perfect butt" which proclaims Jennifer, Mariah Carey, Carmen Electra, and others have turned the big butt into a fashion statement. Lopez is quoted saying, "My butt is big, but I'm not trying to get rid of it."

January 13, 2001 - The Sun had comments from a source close to Jennifer Lopez commenting on her picture used on her upcoming album cover saying, "Jennifer chose the photos herself. She wanted them to look young, foxy and sexy. When Jennifer works on any project she likes to make sure the result is perfection."

January 12, 2001 - Peoplenews.com reports Puffy Combs has hired round-the-clock bodyguards to protect Jennifer Lopez after she's received a number of death threats. Puffy's also worried about stalkers.

January 9, 2001 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca was posed the question of whether Mariah was threatened by Jennifer Lopez and responded, "Of course, she's threatened! Lopez is more talented, and she looks better undressed!"

January 9, 2001 - Jennifer Lopez performed Love Don't Cost a Thing at the  28th Annual American Music Awards Monday night in Los Angeles.

January 9, 2001 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca was posed the question that Jennifer Lopez was pregnant and planned on marrying Puffy in March, but Ted sounded unconvinced replying, "I won't believe that wedding until it blasts me in the face."

Monogamy is taken very lightly - and that's one of the things that is most wrong with our society. For men, sex doesn't always matter that much. January 5, 2001 - Entertaindom.com reports Puffy is revealing his relationship has strengthened with Jennifer Lopez because of the shooting incident, saying "If anything, it has made my relationship with her stronger, and more importantly, my friendship with her stronger. We are going through a trying time together."

January 5, 2001 - Allure magazine reports Jennifer Lopez made $9 million for The Wedding Planner, which pegs her as the highest paid Hispanic actress ever. Lopez also talks about the price of fame, "When it happens, it's like, a weird feeling. I started asking celebrities who'd been in the business a long time, 'What do you do? Is this normal, this feeling that I have? Am I going crazy?'."
