October 31, 2001 - Variety reports Jennifer Lopez netted a $12 acting gig filling in for Halle Berry in Gigli, where she'll star opposite Ben Affleck. Lopez will take on the role of a woman who is sent to supervise a low-level mob hitman played by Affleck. Berry was forced to drop out because of an X-Men 2 commitment while J.Lo was free because Tick Tock was put on hold following the September 11 terror attacks.

October 30, 2001 - The New York Post reports Jennifer Lopez skipped a Macy's premiere for her new clothing line in New York because she's afraid to visit the city, a charge denied by her publicist, Alan Nierob. A source told the post, "Jennifer is too scared to come to New York." Nierob insists, "Jennifer has no plans to come to New York - she has been on her honeymoon. No one has asked her to come, but she has no problem with coming to New York if it is warranted." Read more.

October 28, 2001 - The Sun reports Jennifer Lopez bought husband Cris Judd a custom made Jaguar which includes J&C encrusted in diamonds on the gear stick.

October 28, 2001 - News of the World's Rav Singh reports Jennifer Lopez is searching out a castle in England. Lopez admits, "It's been my dream to own a castle with a huge garden, lakes and peacocks. It would be so romantic. I'm coming over in November on tour and hopefully by then they will have found me a few possible homes."

October 28, 2001 - Halfcocked drummer Charlee Johnsson was asked to rate Jennifer Lopez on a scale of 1 to 10 to Metal-Sludge.com but instead gave the response, "There's far less plastic in a Porsche, you know."

October 24, 2001 - This week's Star covers the American Media story of the tabloid publisher receiving a letter addressed to Jennifer Lopez that likely caused the death of Bob Stevens by inhaling anthrax. Bobby Bender, who first handled the envelope revealed, "The two pages were folded into three, and had all these pleas to J. Lo, obviously referring to her recent wedding to Cris Judd: "I love you... I'm the one that you should marry... I'm a much better man...' The letter ended with 'Love' and a name I can't recall." October 18, 2001 - Hello Magazine reports Jennifer Lopez has rewarded her new husband, Cris Judd, with a whopping $1.5 million plus pay raise. Judd is J.Lo’s director of choreography, and has directed one of her music videos. Read more.

October 18, 2001 - Britney Spears topped Google's list of top celebrity image searches, with Pamela Anderson, Jennifer Lopez, Anna Kournikova, and Angelina Jolie trailing her, in order, on the top 5 list. For web searches, Mariah Carey was #4 on the list of Declining Queries for the month.

October 18, 2001 - The Enquirer reports Jennifer Lopez had plenty of sexy lingerie for her honeymoon with Cris Judd as an insider told them, "Jennifer's maid of honor -- her best friend Arlene Rodriguez -- selected sexy black negligees and other beautiful pieces from some of New York's high fashion boutiques for her." October 16, 2001 - Christina Milan talked to Teen magazine and admits she gave up the song Jennifer Lopez made a hit, Play, saying, "Originally, I'd written that song for myself. She wasn't even involved in it. I had written it with some producers, and they told me the idea of what they wanted me to write. So I wrote the song, and we recorded the demo. But then I was like, 'You know what?' I had just written, like a week before, my song 'AM to PM'--which is my single out right now--and 'AM to PM' is a party song, and so is 'Play.' October 12, 2001 - WENN talked to Jennifer Lopez's publicist, Alan Nierob, following reports that a package suspected of containing the deadly anthrax virus was sent to American Media but addressed to Lopez. Said Nierob, "It's an unsubstantiated fact that has no merit to it whatsoever. It really doesn't even warrant a comment." Lopez is currently spending her honeymoon with Cris Judd following their wedding September 29.

October 11, 2001 - Scotty F Word from the dwarf band The Little Kingz, featured in the new Ben Stiller movie Zoolander, tells Metal-Sludge.com he rates Jennifer Lopez an 8 (10 being a hottie).

October 10, 2001 - Newsweek is reporting that the anthrax situation at American Media in Florida may have orgins from a "weird love letter to Jennifer Lopez" according to a source. The letter contained a "soapy, powdery substance" and in the pile of that a cheap Star of David charm. Read more.

October 7, 2001 - Star magazine reports Jennifer Lopez was recently spotted at L.A.'s Newsroom cafe eating a big pile of blue corn hotcakes dripping with butter and maple syrup.

October 7, 2001 - The US Weekly fashion police ripped into Jennifer Lopez's outfit for the Video Music Awards as radio host Lisa G. joked, "Robin Hood's ho" while comedian Matt Weinhold cracked, "From Frederick's of Nottingham."

October 6, 2001 - The Chicago News Tribune reports Jennifer Lopez's new film, ''The Chambermaid", may be filmed in Chicago, as that is were the film itself is set.

October 6, 2001 - Vibe confidential for November reports Suge Knight does have a videotape of Jennifer Lopez having relations with a former lover.

October 4, 2001 - Worldpop reports the villa of Donatella Versace that Jennifer Lopez and new husband Cris Judd stayed at was decorated with more than 3,000 roses and 1,000 golden candles for a scene that accommodated more than 150 guests who took part in a 5-course meal in celebration of the couple.

October 3, 2001 - The Chicago Sun Times' Bill Zwecker is reporting that Cris Judd signed an iron-tight prenuptial agreement without any protest, prompting a friend of Jennifer Lopez's to tell him, "He's a class act. He loves her for her... not for her bank account." 

October 3, 2001 - Jennifer Lopez and Cris Judd led Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday where Jennifer told ET from the Versace fashion show in Milan, "We'll be here for a few days. And then I don't know. We don't know yet. We're going to take time off. We've been working hard." Lopez was dressed in a low-cut silver floor-length dress and was gracious, talking with the media that was on hand. 

October 2, 2001 - MSNBC's Jeannette Walls reports Jennifer Lopez was recently spotted at Keyes Mercedes in Van Nuys, California buying a $120,000 Mercedes to match her gold sunglasses. A spy told her, "It was definitely for her. She was holding her gold-framed sunglasses up against the car to make sure that the color was a match." Read more.

October 2, 2001 - The New York Post's Liz Smith reports Jennifer Lopez is donating the proceeds to her two sold out shows at the San Juan Coliseum, and when asked how much that was, her manager replied, "A lot!" Liz also adds that sceening for 'Enough' has been doing very well.

October 2, 2001 - The New York Post reports Jennifer Lopez and Cris Judd's wedding reception will be a freebie as they'll be staying at the Lake Como villa of Donatella Versace after they attend the designer's show today in Milan. Cindy Adams reports Jennifer Lopez's dress cost $50,000, but one wonders if J.Lo had to pick up the tab as they leaked it was a Valentino dress. 

October 1, 2001 - Pagesix.com reports Jennifer Lopez and Cris Judd had a movie-like kiss following their exchanged vows at Saturday's marriage for the couple. Said one eyewitness, "She and Puff Daddy used to kiss a lot, but it was nothing like this. This kiss was just so romantic - like something out of a movie. Everybody who saw them embrace was enchanted." Read more.
