November 29, 2001 - Jennifer Lopez was nominated for Favorite Actress and Female Musical Performer for the 28th annual People's Choice Awards which will be telecast live on CBS on January 13.

November 29, 2001 - MSNBC's Jeannette Walls reports Jennifer Lopez asked for better security than the Queen during her Royal Variety Performance on Monday. After asking for accommodations for a 100 person entourage, she was told she could only bring 26 people and when asked about the security at the Met, the London Express reports she was told, "If the security is good enough for the Queen, I’m sure it’s good enough for you." 

November 28, 2001 - The Sun's Dominic Mohan spoke with Jennifer Lopez and even hubby Cris Judd as she's in town on a promotional tour. As for her excessive demands, Lopez fumed, "It makes me angry. I'm portrayed negatively as spoilt and demanding and an obnoxious person. I'm not like that, I'm the opposite. Of course, the people around me try to make things as pleasant as possible for me. They know I work like crazy — it's non-stop and insane. I do ask for things to feel comfortable. I don’t DEMAND things." Read more.

November 28, 2001 - Entertainment Tonight reports Jennifer Lopez was presented to Queen Elizabeth II after her part at the Royal Variety Performance in London. Also part of the annual fundraiser were performances by Elton John and Cher.

November 26, 2001 - The Sun reports Lucy Lui has been added as a presenter at the Top of the Pops awards in Manchester, England because she was so wanting to meet pal Jennifer Lopez who is performing at the awards. 

November 24, 2001 - The Globe has photos of Jennifer Lopez and new husband Cris Judd checking out the construction of their new home in the Hollywood Hills in the November 27 issue (p24-25). A pal revealed of her $8 million pad, "J.Lo is ecstatic every time she goes to the house to see how the construction is coming along. She stands on the deck and proudly takes in the spectacular view. She has a look on her face that says, 'I've worked hard for this!'"

November 24, 2001 - WENN reports organizers with the Top of the Pop awards are happy that Jennifer Lopez is going through with plans to fly and perform at the UK awards show. One of the organizers said, "To be honest, we're not too surprised by petty weedy behaviour from some U.S. stars." Read more.

November 22, 2001 - Jay Leno joked during his Wednesday monologue, "Last night, NBC aired the Jennifer Lopez special. Anybody watch that? They're doing one of those documentaries now, one of those 'making of' specials, it's called 'Jennifer Lopez: Behind the buttocks.' I think it's going to be on next week."

November 22, 2001 - Lopez gets so-so ratings, or at least that's how the Hollywood Reporter typified it. Jennifer Lopez's special averaged 11.8 million viewers and 4.5 rating/12 share in the adults 18-49 demographic, putting it behind CBS powerhouse "JAG"... but not so bad compared with specials by fellow pop stars.

November 22, 2001 - IMDB reports Jennifer Lopez has revealed her intent on starting a family as she admits when she's not so busy, that time will come. J.Lo explains, "Why get married if you don't want to do that? Besides, Cris comes from a very nice family and so do I!" 

November 22, 2001 - The Sun reports Jennifer Lopez has hired a restaurant to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner for herself, Cris, and her entourage at a secret London location today.

November 21, 2001 - Jennifer Lopez was on Access Hollywood Tuesday and addressed talk about her being afraid to visit New York while she was honeymooning by fuming, "You know what I was like, can I have a honeymoon? Just for a little while, you know what I mean? I worked four years in a row. Can I have -- this is the first month I've had off in four years. And we promised ourselves that. For all of that to go down, and it was terribly unfortunate because you think to yourself, why can't you just have a moment you know what I mean, and people not make up something negative? It doesn't only bother me, it affects my husband and my family, and they're like they're saying this about you, and my family lives in New York."

November 21, 2001 - Reuters reports Jennifer Lopez is in Stockholm, Sweden to start her European promotion tour. Around 50 fans waited outside to see the singer with Jennifer Melin, 15, claiming, "She is an incredible example for us. She says smart things. She came from absolutely nowhere and now she is a superstar." Read more.

November 21, 2001 - USA Today's Elysa Gardner talked with Jennifer Lopez about her new hubby Cris Judd and whether he has the same workaholic drive and she admitted, "Cris has more of a laid-back, relaxed attitude than I do. He moves in his own time, which makes for a nice balance. And I'm definitely the kind of person who draws from the energy around me, so he has a calming effect on me — and I need that." Read more.

It makes it a little less bad to have to clean. Those are my favorite kind of albums. I know it sounds kind of funny, but it actually has a lot of value." Read more. November 21, 2001 - Mike Duffy of the Detroit Free Press spoke with Jennifer Lopez ahead of her concert on NBC last night where the singer admitted following the first of two shows in Puerto Rico, "I was so exhausted I couldn't even get up off the couch. November 19, 2001 - The Sun reports Mariah Carey will be performing at the Top of the Pop Awards on November 30 where her arch rival Jennifer Lopez will perform as well. It will be Carey's first visit to the UK since what the Sun is terming as her 'suicide attempt.' Also at the event will be Atomic Kitten, Kylie Minogue and The Corrs. A source revealed Mariah is "keen to show she's fully fit."

November 17, 2001 - Jennifer Lopez spoke with TV Guide Online about recent documents divulvged from TheSmokingGun.com outlining her diva-like demands for the 'What's Going On?' charity single as she insisted, "First of all, being involved in something like that is a total thing where you do it out of the goodness of your heart." Flossing is like, if I want to go out and ride in a car, wear my nice clothes and hang out with my girlfriends, I don't need somebody to pay for things for me. You know what I mean? 'I don't need you to pay for it' — that's what the term 'floss' means. It's like if you wear your brand new sneakers, [you say,] 'I'm flossing with my new sneakers.'" Read more.

November 16, 2001 - Jennifer Lopez revealed that a track that ended up being left off of her 'J.Lo' album was in tribute to her ex Sean P. Diddy Combs which was titled 'I Love You.' The track was eventually given to Faith Evans, who has included the song on her new album, 'Faithfully.'

November 16, 2001 - Jennifer Lopez held a press conference ahead of her NBC concert defending the decision to hold it in Puerto Rico rather than New York as the singer insisted, "From the time a show was first mentioned, I thought about doing it in Puerto Rico." November 15, 2001 - The New York Post reports Jennifer Lopez has responded to her reported demands for the 'What's Going On?' charity single explaining she has nothing to do with those requests. Lopez says, "Anything as far as [contract] riders and things like that, I'm not involved with that. I go to the places, if its nice it's nice. If it's not it's not." As for her media scrutiny, J.Lo added, "I can't let all of the media coverge . . . affect me, because then it's not fun for me anymore, so I don't let it in my world. November 15, 2001 - The Sun reports organzizers at this year's Top of the Pop Awards are fearful that a stench at the show's Manchester’s MEN Arena venue may cause a fury with notorious diva Jennifer Lopez. A source with TOTP admits, "The whole backstage area absolutely stinks. It’s unbearable," adding "The biggest worry is J-Lo is only a few doors away. November 13, 2001 - Entertainment Weekly has new details for the upcoming TV specials for pop stars Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, and Jennifer Lopez that will occur over the few days & weeks. Director Marty Callner says of the Britney show, ''This show is packed -- it's got water, fire, bungee jumping." As for Lopez's show, producer Jeff Pollack said of the post September 11 taping, "This was a momentary diversion that I think was incredibly appreciated." Read more.

November 10, 2001 - Peoplenews.com reports Jennifer Lopez's demanding ways for her Top of the Pops appearances mirror her requirements last year as she again is demanding at least 10 rooms for her and her entourage of more than 100 people. Clothing designers are working round the clock to come up with outfits for her and her 10 backup performers for the diva's performance later this month. A source admitted, "You don't get much more of a diva."

November 10, 2001 - Jennifer Lopez will be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Monday, November 19. Jay's other guests will be punk rockers Green Day.

November 9, 2001 - The Star's latest Hollywood Whodunit provides few clues to which diva is on Cipro, but circumstantial evidence gives us some clue. Is it Jennifer Lopez who has already had a widely believed to be anthrax laced love letter sent in her name to American Media Corp? Or, was the last minute pullout of Christina Aguilera from the Latin Grammy ceremony due to flu symptoms the answer? November 9, 2001 - Jennifer Lopez picked up the Best Female award at the 2001 MTV Europe Awards in Frankfurt but was a no-show to the event. Accepting by video message, Lopez said, "I'm so excited, thank you so much for this award, I want to thank MTV worldwide, Sony music. You know what, the fans, thank you so much for all your support. Everything I do is for you guys and I love you, I wish I could have been there, I really do."

November 9, 2001 - Star quotes Jennifer Lopez bluntly admitting this week, "All I can say is if they show my butt in a movie, it better be a wide shot."

November 7, 2001 - The New York Daily News reports Sean 'Puffy' Combs tried to check himself into the same hotel Jennifer Lopez and new husband Cris Judd were celebrating the couple's honeymoon in. With J.Lo and Benny Medina occupying two of the Tides Hotel in South Beach penthouses, Puffy was trying to book the third. Medina threatened to have all of them bolt if the hotel offered the room to Combs so they declined the rapper's request. Puffy's rep said of the incident, "He never would have wanted to stay at the Tides. He usually prefers the Delano, but he wound up at the Shore Club because they gave him the entire hotel."

November 4, 2001 - Jennifer Lopez was nominated for 'Is It Hot in Here or Is It Just My Video' and 'Navel Academy' at this year's My VH1 Music Awards. The event will take place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on December 2. Cast your votes here.

November 2, 2001 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca reports Jennifer Lopez was spotted in Miami having a Sunday brunch at Lario's. Lopez had a matching yellow jacket and pants on and she arrived in a black Mercedes.
