December 30, 2001 - The Globe reports Jennifer Lopez is furious over her ex Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs making a play for her younger sister Lynda. A source revealed following their much reported breakup, "It didn't take long for Sean to lean on Lynda emotionally." Lopez wasn't pleased to hear this info according to an insider who said, "She's absolutely furious at them both. She's made it clear that she wants Lynda to stay away from Puffy, and Puffy to stay away from Lynda."

December 27, 2001 - Jamie Foxx recounted his MTV Video Music Awards hosting to the Tonight Show's Jay Leno Thursday night when he retold his joke that even after breaking up with Sean Combs, Jennifer Lopez's butt will always be 'Puffy.' 

December 26, 2001 - This week's National Enquirer includes a steamy set of photos featuring Cris Judd during his Chippendales dancing days. A source told the tabloid, "Cris first started working for Chippendales in '93. He was a professionally trained dancer. He was a very handsome guy who could dance rings around anyone else in the Chippendales troupe." The source added, "A lot of women threw themselves at Cris - and like most of the guys, if the women were particularly pretty, he'd go home with them for the night."

December 26, 2001 - WENN reports Jennifer Lopez was kind enough to fly a 9 year old girl from her home in New Jersey to Hollywood to watch on the set as she filmed her latest video, 'Ain't It Funny'. The child, Caitlin Antigua, made the wish to see J.Lo following mom Lorriane's death at the World Trade Center. Caitlin said, "My mom was the greatest mom in the world and I would give anything to get her back. If I can't have that wish, meeting Jennifer Lopez would be it." Read more.

December 22, 2001 - Triumph the Insult Comic Dog was was at the Sony Music office in New York to offer an apology to Jennifer Lopez for his "I want to sniff your butt" comments on at the MTV Video Music Awards.

December 21, 2001 - AOL revealed Thursday that Jennifer Lopez was the 4th most searched for person on their website for the year with Britney Spears taking the top spot.

December 18, 2001 - Vogue.com reports Jennifer Lopez is being credited by insiders in the fashion community for jumping on their planned wedding gown style for the new year during her secret wedding with Cris Judd. Designer Reem Acra said, "There were hints all over that this was going to be the look. She knows the trends, at least more so than a lot of others who know what's going on."

December 14, 2001 - First it was those involved in the Rick Dees show, now we hear from MSNBC's Jeannette Walls that extras on the set of 'Gigli' are not allowed to look at the film's star Jennifer Lopez. A source told Walls, "Apparently, extras looked at her while she was making the video, 'I’m Real'. It made her really uncomfortable, so we’ve been warned not to make eye contact with her." In addition, Lopez's huge staff has meant fewer positions for security on the set.

December 14, 2001 - JAM! Music reports Jennifer Lopez plans on releasing a J.Lo remix album in 2002. The official title for the album nor who she'll be collaborating with her have been announced.

December 13, 2001 - Jennifer Lopez plans to market clothing from her Sweetface Fashion Company line to teens and preteen girls. The line will include shorts, skirts, dresses jackets, and jeans. Look for the clothes to hit stores next spring.

December 13, 2001 - News.com.au spoke with Janet Jackson about whether she thinks 'That looks familiar' when watching Jennifer Lopez videos. Jackson said, "Ha! Um . . . a couple of times I have. Before I never did but my friends bought it to my attention, her and Britney, Mya, things like that. Before I'd just watch it and enjoy what they were doing. It's a certain feeling, the way a video was shot, a certain something that reminds me of something I've done." When asked if she found that flattering, she added, "You do. Everyone's inspired. December 12, 2001 - MSNBC's Jeannette Walls reports Jennifer Lopez has a steamy lesbian makeout session with a female co-star in 'Gigli', which J.Lo stars with opposite Ben Affleck. Ben hasn't yet worked with Lopez on the film but isn't worried about her diva reputation. A source told Walls, "He watched a clip of her entertaining the troops overseas and was really blown away. He said he almost had a heart attack. Then he started doing a hilarious impersonation of Jennifer Lopez dancing, shaking his booty and all. He’s a big fan." Read more.

December 7, 2001 - The Sun reports Jennifer Lopez and husband Cris Judd did a bit of window-shopping in Mayfair, saw a Bentley in a showroom. After a brief argument over who would have the car, i they realized that they were so rich they could afford one each. They now own identical azure-coloured Bentleys worth over $700,000.

December 5, 2001 - Jennifer D'Angelo of Foxnews.com reports stars like Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears have inspired, if accidently, a new fashion statement of showing your butt crack. Annette Stamatelatos, one of Britney Spears' backup singers commented, "We're all flying out of our pants — Britney, me, the dancers. It's sexy at the pre-point before the pop-out. December 4, 2001 - MSNBC's Jeannette Walls reports Jennifer Lopez secured 10 dressing rooms for her performance at BBC's Top Of The Pops awards leaving Mariah Carey with only two rooms. Mariah's spokeswoman used the opportunity to take a dig at J.Lo saying, "Post September 11, as we’re all trying to get back to business, Mariah’s intention was to scale back production elements. December 4, 2001 - Get ready for a concert featuring Jennifer Lopez, Kid Rock, and Ja Rule as the three artists will perform for troops on an MTV New Years' Day concert for The United Service Organizations. The show will be hosted by Carson Daly and will include not only a performance, but footage of the three mingling with soldiers, and servicemen and women.

December 3, 2001 - The New York Post reports Jennifer Lopez's stylist Andrea Lieberman was spotted at H. Stern on Fifth Avenue picking up $180,000 worth of diamond and gold jewelry for J.Lo.

December 1, 2001 - The Chicago Sun Times Bill Zwecker reports Madonna and Jennifer Lopez are both vying for a part as the voice of a hippo named Gloria in DreamWorks' computer-animated feature "Madagascar." The film is set to be released either in 2003 or 2004 and is said to have major buzz.
