"She is the world's No. 1 recording star, movie star and is on the cover of every magazine in the country," said J.Lo colleague Joey Battig. November 30, 2002 - Norm Clarke of the Las Vegas Review Journal reports an extensive shopping spree by Jennifer Lopez and fiance Ben Affleck created a Thanksgiving Day mob scene at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. November 28, 2002 - The Chicago Sun-Times reports execs at Columbia Pictures have sent out CDs of Jennifer Lopez's 'Enough' track 'Alive' to Academy Award voters ''for your consideration.'' Lopez, her ex-husband Cris Judd and Cory Rooney wrote the song for 'Enough,' which Columbia is pitching as a possible best original song nominee. November 27, 2002 - The New York Daily News reports dance students at the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club in the Bronx got a surprise alumni visit yesterday when Jennifer Lopez dropped by. Matt Lauer arranged the reunion for the 'Today' show. J.Lo loved talking with the teens and watching them perform, but frowned at the long-ago headshot of her that the club had up. "We have to change that photo," said the star.

November 27, 2002 - Another example of Conan O'Brien and Jay Leno, both of NBC, not clearing their monologue jokes with each other. Jay joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Tuesday, "After three months, our good friends, Lisa Marie Presley and Nicolas Cage, filed for divorce. In fact, today, Jennifer Lopez said, 'Three months? What's your secret? How do you keep the spark? What happened? How do you keep it going?'" Later, Conan joked during his Late Night monologue, "Earlier today, big story, Nicolas Cage and Lisa Marie Presley announced that they are getting a divorce after four months of marriage. Can you believe that? Four months. Only four months. Yeah. Yeah. After hearing about it, Jennifer Lopez said, 'Four months? Wow, what was their secret?'"

November 27, 2002 - Jennifer Lopez spoke with Radio 1 about her special gig in the Bronx neighborhood where she grew up. "When I was coming up I first started dancing and singing and taking lessons and stuff at a place called Kips Bay Boys Club, and we're going back there to perform on that stage," J.Lo said. "I always say I haven't changed and I don't think people believe that. They want to think that because you have had success that you change into this sort of weird money monster."

November 27, 2002 - Sharon Osbourne tells Access Hollywood that for her new talk show, "I want to ask Puff Daddy what it was like to fu** J. Lo." It's now probably a safe bet that neither Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs or Jennifer Lopez will appear. "That's what people want to know -- what was she like in bed, was she great in bed, was she not, was she a good kisser, did she smell good, and then ask him other things," she said. November 26, 2002 - Jennifer Lopez tells the Scottish Daily Record that all the talk of her engagement to Ben Affleck may be wearing thin on her fans. "I've said so much already and I feel like everybody is bored with it," she said. Lopez did talk about reports of a Valentine's Day wedding though. "That won't happen. I can confirm that," she revealed. The couple have to figure out which church they'll make the walk. "I would like to get married in a church, in a Catholic church," she said. November 26, 2002 - The National Enquirer reports while shooting the movie 'Angel Eyes' the movie production people agreed to have Jennifer Lopez sign an autograph for a homeowner's daughter in exchange for the use of this house. Jennifer ended up running off after the shoot and didn't sign the autograph which made the child cry.

November 20, 2002 - The Philadelphia Daily News is questioning the report that Jennifer Lopez's engagement ring from Ben Affleck, a reported 6.1 carat, emerald cut, pink diamond ring that, really cost Affleck $3 million. "Pink diamond is extremely rare. Depending on the color and clarity, it can be extremely expensive," said Barry Sable, who runs Sable Diamonds. "Three million? I'm not sure about that," he said.

November 7, 2002 - WENN reports Ralph Fiennes and Jennifer Lopez had to change the title of their new movie three times - because it sounded like a porn movie. The film, now entitled 'Maid In Manhattan', was originally called 'The Chambermaid' but both stars were worried when people asked them just how raunchy their scenes together would be. Fiennes says, "Originally it was 'The Chambermaid' but everyone thought it was either a period piece or a porn film. Then it was called 'Uptown Girl' which everybody hated."
