of E! Online reports Jennifer Lopez and fiance Ben Affleck were spotted
sucking on some drinks at the B Side in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The pair
looked relaxed and had fun on a mellow night out. Lopez was somewhat covered
in a chic long coat, while her Ben went with his typical jeans-and-tee
route.

Ben Affleck sifted through piles of tees, shot glasses and such in Park
City, Utah for the Sundance Film Festival, an obsessive crowd clamored
in front of the store window, smooshing their faces against the glass for
a closer gander at the couple.
January 31, 2003 - Jennifer
Lopez has joined the list of celebrities who will present Oscars at this
year's Academy Awards. She will be joined by Denzel Washington and Julianne
Moore, to hand out awards at the ceremony in Hollywood on March 23rd. Nominations
are to be announced on February 11th.

Sun-Times reports word is that Ben Affleck and fiance Jennifer Lopez are
so cold in the Windy City there is talk of re-creating the set for 'Surviving

Vegas Sun reports Jennifer Lopez placed a six-figure wager on the Tampa
Bay Buccaneers at the MGM Grand on Sunday for the Super Bowl game against
the Oakland Raiders -- and won. Multiple sources say J.Lo placed a $250,000
wager on Tampa Bay to win Super Bowl XXXVII and took the money line at
plus-160. That means she won $400,000 -- and also got her original investment

York Daily News spoke with Jennifer Lopez's rep who insists the Las Vegas
Sun report that she bet $250,000 on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday
is untrue. "Jennifer made no bets whatsoever, as she doesn't gamble," the

January 30, 2003 - The Boston
Herald reports Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez had a little snit at the
Sundance Film Festival when Ben told J.Lo he wanted to go out on the town
with best bud Matt Damon -- but not with her. Lopez's response? "If I'm
not invited to go out with you and Matt, then maybe I'm not the one you

Adams of the New York Post reports Jennifer Lopez and fiance Ben Affleck
are still very much a couple, and appear to be headed towards the altar
sooner rather than later. She asked an insider why the rush, and the spy
revealed, "Because one and one make three. She's into power and excitement.
Remember Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton? Married stars become even
more powerful and charismatic as a couple than they are individually. No
matter how hot they are singly, together they're incandescent." As for
reports that ex-hubby Cris Judd got a big payoff? "Don't believe she paid

York Daily News reports there could be trouble in the impending marriage
between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, fueled by a reported argument the
couple had at Sundance, and it caused execs at Columbia Pictures to scramble
into an emergency strategy session. The rumor and movie house unease seemed
to have settled down after it was learned J.Lo went to Chicago last week,
where Ben is filming 'Surviving Christmas'. A source close to Lopez argued
that "if anything, the problem is Jennifer wants to spend so much time
with Ben; she's reluctant to do a lot of international press for [Columbia's]

January 27, 2003 - On the
set of the Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck movie 'Gigli', a mishap happened
for an innocent bystander. A woman named Ethel Higley, standing nearby
the set, was temporarily blinded by large mirrors put in use by the crew
who were ordered by the executive producer of the movie, John Hardy, to
thwart the papparazzi who were trying to take pictures of Jennifer and
Ben on the Santa Monica, California beach. Ms. Higley became dizzy from
the intense bright light of the sun reflected in the mirrors directly into
her eyes and fell over in the sand. She suffered a migraine headache and
blurred vision and had to be helped by Los Angeles County Fire Department
Paramedics. Ms. Higley was then transported by ambulance to the hospital

Jennifer Lopez’s latest divorce will be official and that will now clear

Sun-Times reports Jennifer Lopez’s Chicago visit with fiance Ben Affleck
has been a boon for some local retailers. Among J. Lo’s purchases has been
a $1,200 splurge on those trendy Jo Malone fragrances and cosmetics at
Saks Fifth Avenue. She visited the store Monday accompanied by a pal and

Sun-Times reports Jennifer Lopez and her fiance Ben Affleck were spotted
dining at Skokie's 24-hour Jack's Restaurant at 4 p.m. Wednesday in an
attempt to find a place where they might not be noticed. Pat, the waitress
for the couple, says the pair arrived wearing hats and coats because it
was cold. Lopez ordered the Jack Salad, but Pat forgot what Ben ordered.
She says neither were bothered.

to the stars Jill Dahne shared with Star magazine her passion predictions,
including those for Jennifer Lopez and fiance Ben Affleck. Dahne says their
marriage is "coming soon" and to "expect the couple to purchase even more

Jennifer Lopez's divorce from her second husband Cris Judd will become
final this weekend, freeingher to marry actor Ben Affleck. Court documents
in Los Angeles said the actress and singer's seven-month marriage to dancer

entire spa be closed for two hours for her exclusive use. Diva gets her
wish, as they agreed to her demand.
January 20, 2003 - The New
York Post reports Us Weekly looks to have lost its cozy relationship with
Jennifer Lopez and fiance Ben Affleck after the mag was shut out Friday
night from the premiere party for the next series of Ben's 'Project Greenlight'
at the Sundance Film Festival. A source says Ben is "massively pissed"
at Us over a recent item they ran. "HBO was happy to let them in, but Ben
Affleck's publicist personally put the kibosh on Us Weekly attending,"
explained a source.

Lopez phoned into the Rick Dees show in KIIS FM. She was in Colorado for
the Sundance Film Festival. J.Lo says she's not a cold-weather person,
preferring it warm, and she isn't going to try skiing. Lopez says she wants
her new video to be a big dance video, and she'll be rehearsing for it
soon. Rick was gushing about the hook in 'Jenny From The Block', but apparently
didn't realize it was stolen from the Beatnuts. Rick wants Lopez to release
'Loving You' next off of 'This Is Me... Then'. Lopez is happy about the
success of 'Maid in Manhattan', which has netted almost $100 million at

York Post reports Matt Damon's troubles with Jennifer Lopez started right

done because test audiences didn't like the original cut, in which Affleck's
character is killed off. "The studio was more than willing to rub out Ben,"
a source said. "He is smitten with her, and she rebuffs him in many clever,

of the New York Post spoke with Coty, Inc. about the runaway success of
their Glow by J.Lo perfume line, and the new Celine Dion Parfum they hope
achieves similar sales success. Since Glow hit stores in September 2002,
it has racked up a reported $40 million in sales of the fragrance, body
lotion and shower gel in its first four months on the market. "For Glow,
we had a concept," Coty CEO Bernd Beetz said. "The bottle epitomizes her

Tonight reports Jennifer Lopez and fiance Ben Affleck had a bit of a scare
yesterday in downtown Los Angeles while filming some additional photography
for their film, 'Gigli.' Two cars not associated with the film crashed
into each other at an intersection not far from Hollywood's hot couple.
However, production was not delayed.
January 12, 2003 - The New
York Post has a photo of Jennifer Lopez yawning from the passenger seat
of a car with fiance Ben Affleck on the set of 'Gigli', and if the film's
test audiences are any indication, yawning is justified. A spy said the
film is so bad, "test audiences walked out halfway through the movie."
J.Lo and Ben were ordered back to the set to do reshoots, including a car

get out of hand."

flamenco guitarist Charo, known for her sexy wiggle and the catchphrase
"cuchi-cuchi" says Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Shakira are
cheap copies of herself. "They have all obviously copied what I invented
- the hair, the costume, the wiggle," she blasted to the National Enquirer.
"But they don't copy so good. They're cheap copies. They are all Charo
with diarrhea." Charo added that the three modern day "wiggle queens" "should

reports Jennifer Lopez has admitted her failed relationship with Sean 'P.
Diddy' Combs was bad for her health. "For me, it was not a healthy relationship,"
she said. "There was a lot of dishonesty which led to its demise. Any love,
when it’s mistreated, deteriorates and for me it really deteriorated."
Still, Lopez insists the relationship was real when it still alive. J.Lo
insisted, "Say what you want about my relationship with Mr. Combs but there
was a lot of love there. He will tell you that."

Soults of the Boston Phoenix reviewed the latest releases from Mariah Carey
and Jennifer Lopez, calling 'Charmbracelet' whitewashed R&B that has

reports Jennifer Lopez is gearing up for her planned wedding to Ben Affleck.
The diva recently paid a visit to Les Habitudes in Los Angeles with her
stylist to try out wedding gowns and accessories. A source at the shop
says Lopez tried on Emma Hope silk shoes with pointed toes and little heals.
"Those aren't her typical shoes, but they are for a wedding," the source
noted. Lopez also splurged $15,000 on sweaters for Ben at Barneys New York
in Beverly Hills.
January 7, 2003 - The National
Enquirer reports the real reason Jennifer Lopez made up with her hairstylist
Oribe after firing him was because the diva was scorched by his replacement
during a promotion for 'Maid in Manhattan'. The woman accidently dropped
the curling iron on J.Lo, burning her neck and causing her to scream in
pain. Despite the woman apologizing in tears over and over, J.Lo showed
no mercy storming out of the makeup room and screaming, "Don't come near
me EVER AGAIN!" Lopez proceeded to apply cold compresses to her swelling
neck and did her own hair styling.
January 5, 2003 - Jennifer
Lopez phoned into MTV's Total Request Live on Friday to introduce her new
video with LL Cool J entitled 'All I Have'. Lopez says she has a few resolutions
for the New Year, but didn't want to share them. J.Lo says spent the holiday
in Miami with her family. As for the video, she says her pals were itching
to get on the set to see LL, when they never want to go see her shoot any

in the movies." But Reem does have a few ideas on what Jennifer might wear

had been together for about a week, two weeks, and then suddenly we were
rehearsing, and they were a couple, which was kind of great, because they
were playing a couple falling in love in movie. So, the onscreen chemistry
was mirrored by their offscreen chemistry." As for whether he had to fake
anthing, he insisted, "Didn't have to fake a thing, and hopefully, next
year we'll be sitting here talking about that movie and not you're referring

reports Jennifer Lopez and her entourage went shopping recently at Barneys
in New York City. J.Lo got tired of staring fans and asked her personal
shopper if they would close the store so she and her pals could shop alone.

management said no to her. Salespeople say the diva is difficult, demanding,
and not a huge spender.
