May 31, 2003 - Jennifer Lopez's manager Benny Medina insisted to the New York Daily News that his client is "not pregnant" and that the clothes she and Ben Affleck bought at Burberry in Las Vegas were for her older sister Leslie's children.

May 31, 2003 - The Las Vegas Sun reports Jennifer Lopez and fiance Ben Affleck were in Sin City over the weekend, and stopped by Burberry's store inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian -- to buy baby clothes. "I don't know if it was for her, but I didn't ask," a store manager said. "They were in here on Monday morning, looking at all the kids' stuff. They bought a couple of things, all children's stuff -- nothing for themselves." Read more.

May 31, 2003 - Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com hears that Jennifer Lopez and her long-time publicist Alan Nierob are splitting because the singer/actress rebuffed his attempts to have her tone down her diva ways. "Alan Nierob has represented Jennifer like a lion at the gate," says a source. "But lately, he’s been warning her about public backlash and trying to be a voice of reason. May 31, 2003 - Jennifer Lopez has been dropped from appearing at the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday (June 1) after she demanded $400,000 just to attend. "I know Miss Lopez is supposed to have a reputation as a bit of a diva but this is ridiculous," an event organizer told The Sun. "When she came back and said she would do it for [$400,000], we nearly choked."

May 31, 2003 - Jennifer Lopez was on the Rick Dees hotline on Friday. She called from the set of her new movie 'An Unfinished Life' with Morgan Freeman and Robert Redford. May 29, 2003 - The New York Daily News reports that just weeks after Ben Affleck dumped longtime rep David Pollick for Ken Sunshine, his fiance Jennifer Lopez has split with her spokesman Alan Nierob. J.Lo's manager Benny Medina says, "Some changes are being made internally in Jennifer's world. This was one that felt timely. Alan has been a terrific publicist. May 29, 2003 - Jennifer Lopez's manager Benny Medina is denying reports by MSNBC.com's Jeannette Walls that his client and her fiance Ben Affleck are looking to sell their wedding photos to OK! magazine. He told the New York Post, "No way - absolutely not. They have pursued us relentlessly but we have declined." While Medina wouldn't comment on when the couple will walk the aisle, he did say, "Jennifer would like to be married by the fall."

May 29, 2003 - The Enquirer reports Jennifer Lopez has hired a private chef to prepare healthy meals for her while she's filming 'An Unfinished Life' in Canada. The chef is also playing the role of teacher, showing J.Lo how to cook fiance Ben Affleck's favorite dishes.

May 29, 2003 - Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com reports Jennifer Lopez and fiance Ben Affleck are in negotiations to sell exclusive rights to their wedding photos, with the most likely buyer being British tabloid OK! "It’s a very risky thing to do in terms of public image," said the source. "But we’re talking a lot of cash. My understanding is that it’s a seven-figure price, and then OK! would re-sell it to U.S. publications." Read more.

May 28, 2003 - According to British magazine New!, Jennifer Lopez wants to marry Ben Affleck in London. J.Lo reportedly is eyeing St. Paul's Cathedral as the perfect location, as it is the same place used for the late Princess Diana's 1981 marriage to Prince Charles. Lopez told friends, "I fell in love with this church after watching the Princess Diana wedding in the early '80s." An inside source explained, "Jennifer feels that, at third time lucky, she could do with some help, and feels that the UK - where she is always warmly received - would make a great start for her wedding to Ben. She knows people will laugh, but she has this dream of a fairy-tale wedding and sees St. Paul's as the perfect setting."

May 28, 2003 - The New York Post has details of Jennifer Lopez's interview with Vibe magazine, where the singer/actress reveals that Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs' cheating was behind their split. J.Lo said she and Combs "broke up so many times he didn't believe it was over when it finally ended... May 23, 2003 - The New York Post reports New York City's Mayor Michael Bloomberg told reporters on Wednesday that he's ready for a dinner date with Jennifer Lopez. "I assume Jennifer Lopez would want to have dinner with me," he commented. "I don't know. I never met the young lady, but I'd certainly be willing to." The mayor insisted his girlfriend, Diana Taylor, wouldn't mind. "I don't think she feels threatened," he chuckled.

May 23, 2003 - The Boston Herald reports an 85-year-old retired mutual funds manager won a Jennifer Lopez butt-double contest yesterday at the Madame Tussaud's New York Wax Museum. Tussaud's spokesguy James Monahan said of Michael Stirna: "He was most bootylicious." For winning, Stirna will be getting 10 tickets to the wax museum and a membership to a New York sports club. The couple spent last weekend at their Hampton Island, Georgia home and sneaked out to a theater in nearby Savannah on Saturday to catch 'The Matrix Reloaded.' May 23, 2003 - Ben Affleck recently dumped his long-time publicist, David Pollick, and well-placed sources tell Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com that Jennifer Lopez was behind the move. "Pollick was in J.Lo’s way, so J.Lo got him out of the way," the source revealed. "There’s no room for reason on Planet J. Lo." Lopez's publicist countered, "We [Lopez and I] were advised of the change. We didn’t even know about it until it happened. May 21, 2003 - Star magazine reports Urban Fare market customers in Vancouver were amazed to see Jennifer Lopez personally buying $400 worth of groceries. The singer/actress was in Canada filming 'An Unfinished Life', and told a clerk she was cooking dinner for 10, by herself. J.Lo bought a ham, pineapple rings, Stove Top stuffing, a 25-pound turkey and other items. Asked if she wanted chunky or smooth cranberry sauce, Lopez asked, "Which is sexier?" - then chose chunky.

May 20, 2003 - Jim Carrey was on MTV's Total Request Live on Monday and was asked about if he shares anything in common with Mariah Carey besides a last name. "Well, maybe a little off centeredness maybe," he said. "A little eccentricity." He added, "Maybe a tiny bit to the left, yeah. We play left field, both of us." Asked if he ever hit on Jennifer Lopez while she was a Fly Girl on 'In Living Color', Carrey said, "No, she had two of the butts when she was on the show. No, she is incredible now. But he said of J.Lo: "She's very comfortable with her gluteus maximus. She's showing it a lot now." He added, "Yeah, she used to hide it. Now she's flaunting it, and she should."

May 7, 2003 - Howard Stern mentioned a picture of Jennifer Lopez on his morning show that he saw where they showed her ass with all kinds of cottage cheese fat on it. Howard and Gary Dell'Abate talked about how it's just going to get worse over time. Howard said he doesn't think that Ben Affleck will ever marry her. Howard said he did see J.Lo's movie 'Maid in Manhattan' and loved it. Gary said he enjoyed it also.

May 6, 2003 - Since Jennifer Lopez's new 'I'm Glad' video was such an accurate replication of 'Flashdance', Paramount has taken action. " "The scenes were, frame by frame, the same," a source told the New York Post. "Paramount sent a legal letter to Sony claiming copyright infringement. There was nothing Sony could do - it is the same - so they are settling." But since J.Lo's Jennifer Beals impersonation was so good, Paramount is in talks with the singer/actress to remake the film. May 3, 2003 - The Boston Herald reports Ben Affleck and fiance Jennifer Lopez may sign on to the big screen adaptation of Dennis Lehane's 'Gone Baby Gone.' Lehane told the paper that he thinks J.Lo has the right attitude to play private eye Angela Gennaro to Ben's Patrick Kenzie. "I thought she was wonderful in 'Out of Sight,' just great,'' said Lehane. May 2, 2003 - The Daily Star reports Jennifer Lopez was recently filming 'An Unfinished Life' in a small American town where she upset the owner of the local dry cleaner. J.Lo apparently didn't give him the time of day when he was drafted in to assist on the production. "She didn't smile at me when I was called in to help the crew," he whined. "She didn't say hello or even acknowledge me. That women was too wrapped up in herself." Read more.

May 2, 2003 - Globe magazine reports that the moneyman behind the $50 million remake of 'Casablanca' has pulled the plug on the production after hearing reports that intended stars Ben Affleck and fiance Jennifer Lopez are being seen as duds for onscreen lovers in their first film together, 'Gigli'. An executive who worked on the failed project said, "Everyone had been telling us that Ben and J.Lo are the next Richard Burton and Liz Taylor or Spencer Tray and Katharine Hepburn. But maybe they need to fight a bit more like those old-time stars to get that magic working onscreen."

May 2, 2003 - The New York Post spoke with Miramax vice president Paul Pflug after the studio decided to move the production of Jennifer Lopez's new film 'Shall We Dance' from Toronto to Winnipeg over SARS fears, even though the World Health Organization says Toronto is safe again. "We're not panicking and running for the hills," Pflug said. "SARS was a contributing factor, but Winnipeg also has a lot of features we need for the movie."

May 2, 2003 - Miramax spokesman Paul Pflug tells the Winnipeg Sun as of yesterday afternoon, the Winnipeg shoot for the Jennifer Lopez starring 'Shall We Dance?' was officially on, instead of the original Toronto location. "SARS is one consideration in moving the picture. But Winnipeg meets a lot of the creative sensibilities of the film, as well," Pflug says. "We made the decision to benefit the film creatively. To be honest we looked at many locations and Winnipeg fit the look of the Chicago locations better overall." Read more.

May 2, 2003 - Globe magazine reports Madame Tussaud's in London is preparing to unveil a wax model of Jennifer Lopez. The singer/actress will sit in a separate room from another singer with a famous backside, Kylie Minogue. "We have a sneaking suspicion J.Lo will get more attention than Kylie," says a spokesman. "We'll have someone standing by to make sure nobody gets carried away."

May 2, 2003 - The Sun reports Jennifer Lopez has failed to poach make-up artist Caroline Barnes, the woman paid to make Kylie Minogue’s butt look so good. Lopez phoned Barnes, who oils and bronzes Kylie’s backside, offering to double her wages. But Barnes told J.Lo to find her own staff.

May 2, 2003 - Roger Friedman of FoxNews.com reports that his sources out West, where Cris Judd recently played in a golf tournament for Bon Appetit magazine, say that he his ex wife Jennifer Lopez are still quite friendly. "It's a game she plays with him," the source reports. "There's still a lot of connection that Ben knows nothing about." Read more.

May 2, 2003 - Tina31182 writes "Askmen.com's gossip column had two stories on Jennifer Lopez. One being about the documentary "Behind the Behind" and more interestingly on a rumored prenuptial with Ben Affleck. According to the site Jen is reportedly making Ben agree to giving her half of his multimillion-dollar fortune, their jointly owned mansions, money generated by Ben via business ventures throughout the marriage, and full custody of any and all children (meaning that Ben recieves absolutely no visitation rights) if he is unfaithful to her. May 2, 2003 - Rita Zekas of the Toronto Star suggests Jennifer Lopez, who reportedly balked at shooting 'Shall We Dance' in Toronto because of SARS, seems to have traded a headache for an upset stomach: SARS for West Nile. Zekas says, "Winnipeg in the summer is mosquito country." A film insider who has worked in Winnipeg joked, "There isn't a day when a bird doesn't fall from the sky." Read more.

April 30, 2003 - Conan O'Brien joked during his Late Night monologue last night: "The other day, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck surprised fans by showing up at a Boston Red Sox game. That's right. Yeah, apparently the game was packed because it was 'J.Lo Ex-Husband Day'."
