"Scott agreed on the day of the wedding that his services were a wedding gift to Jennifer," the source explained. "He has changed his tune now that they've parted ways." The pal added, "It's sad to Jennifer that Scott would say those things."

September 27, 2004 - Us Weekly reports that when Jennifer Lopez met the Olsen twins on September 12th for Coty's party in New York, they "seemed in awe of J.Lo," a partygoer revealed. Another source added, "When they shook hands, it seemed formal, like it was the first time. [The Olsens] looked pretty excited!"

September 20, 2004 - Things were icey between Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony at the World Music Awards in Las Vegas last week, a source tells Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com. "I don't know if they were mad at each other or just didn’t want to create a scene by being photographed together, but they definitely did not look like a couple when I saw them," the source revealed. "They stayed at least six feet apart." The couple "didn't make eye contact" or even acknowledge people who were handing out freebies backstage, added the source.

September 20, 2004 - The New York Post reports Jennifer Lopez was asked to go on stage and sing for hubby Marc Anthony during the surprise 35th birthday bash she threw for him at his Long Island estate Thursday evening. J.Lo declined, explaining that she had no back-up singers or musicians and, as an eyewitness giggled, "Marc ended up singing at his own birthday. You'll never see J.Lo unplugged."

September 20, 2004 - The New York Daily News reports Ecko clothing exec Emil Wilbekin had booked DJ Cassidy six months in advance for his birthday bash at P.M. on Thursday night, but was nixed out by Jennifer Lopez, who wanted Cassidy to perform at her husband Marc Anthony's surprise 35th birthday party she held for him on Long Island. "DJ Cassidy canceled on Emil, and he was pissedd," a source revealed. A friend of Wilbekin said he wasn't upset and had Beverly Bond fill in as DJ.

September 20, 2004 - The New York Daily News reports execs at Coty weren't happy to see some of their employees speaking out about Jennifer Lopez not dedicating 100% of her trip to New York to promoting their joint-marketed fragrances. "Whatever anybody has heard, it's untrue," said Paul Wilmot, spokesman for J.Lo's company Sweetface Fashion. "Jennifer was thrilled to participate in a promotion for Glow and Still for five hours at Macy's on Sunday. The Coty people were over the moon." Read more.

September 20, 2004 - The New York Post reports that for Jennifer Lopez's new film 'Shall We Dance?', which opens October 15th, the movie poster depicts Richard Gere dancing solo in the rain — without a trace of J.Lo, who plays his sexy dance teacher. "The 'we' in the title certainly suggests two people, but not showing Gere's partner, one of the most famous bodies in the world, seems weird," says Martin Grove, a marketing columnist for the Hollywood Reporter. "Perhaps budgets have gotten so tight at Miramax that they couldn't afford to show two people in the poster." Read more.

September 20, 2004 - Former best pals Pat O'Brien of the newly launched 'The Insider' and his ex-boss and 'Access Hollywood' executive producer Rob Silverstein are sniping at each other in The New York Daily News. "I find it interesting that they could have Steven Cojocaru interview Jennifer Lopez and never once ask her about Marc Anthony," Silverstein said. "What kind of deal did they cut?" O'Brien fired back, "I am surprised that Rob doesn't know she's married to Marc Anthony. I think everybody knows that. "They brought her up here for their 100th anniversary gala [at the American Museum of Natural History] Sunday night, but earlier in the day, she did a promotion at Macy's - but for her clothing line J.Lo - not her perfumes," a source told The New York Daily News. "J.Lo's security scoped the lounge out for over two hours and then cleared the entire room for her," a source said. After the room was cleared, J.Lo and her posse that didn't include hubby Marc Anthony spent time with ex-lover Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs.

September 13, 2004 - In Touch magazine reports that Jennifer Lopez is eager to have children with hubby Marc Anthony. "Jennifer can't wait to be a mom and knows it won't be long now," a friend of the singer/actress revealed. "It has always been the one goal in life she's strived for." When she is a mother, the friend added that J.Lo may bow out of the limelight. "She doesn't want all these crazy outside factors taking away from the beauty of it all," the pal added.

September 13, 2004 - Makeup artist Scott Barnes, who was fired by Jennifer Lopez after he was caught gossiping about her, told spies at Wednesday's Fashion Rocks concert at Radio City Music Hall he "wasn't through with Jennifer yet." Barnes warned if Lopez bad-mouths him in the press, he said he will talk again to a magazine or write a book. A source told The New York Post: "He knows everything. He knows all about Jennifer and her faith healer [Merle Gonzalez]. After Ben [Affleck] left Jennifer, Merle went in to expel bad auras and cleanse her house. Merle also blessed the 'Shall We Dance' set and some people say Jennifer has had Merle put hexes on people she feels have done her wrong." Read more.

September 13, 2004 - Scott Barnes says he left Jennifer Lopez, because Lopez still owes him for work he did for her wedding to Marc Anthony. On that day, Barnes — hired just to beautify J.Lo — ended up working on some of her family and friends. "I came over on the pretense of business," the make-up artist told Us Weekly. "I ended up doing five times the work and wasn't paid. All I really wanted was an apology, and it's sad that after four years I can't even get that."

"They spent the time tanning, relaxing, and shopping without being recognized," a source revealed. "They were thrilled just to window shop on the main street like any other tourists." The trip went so well they might return to the Caribbean island soon. "They loved it," the source added. "When they got back, Jen told everyone she had a fantastic time."

September 13, 2004 - Despite rumors Jennifer Lopez is jealous of Marc Anthony's first wife, Dayanara Torres, a friend says that's the furthest thing from the truth. "She's got good feelings for Dayanara and her sons, and hopes they'll be close someday soon," the friend tells In Touch magazine. "In Jennifer's heart, she loves Marc's kids as much as if they were her own."

September 6, 2004 - Jennifer Lopez has apparently found her leaker, longtime makeup man, Scott Barnes. The New York Post reports Barnes was blamed for leaking information only members of her inner circle would know to the press. "[Former Barnes client] Lucy Liu had a similar problem with Scott," an insider said. J.Lo told Barnes something that was false, only to later get media asking her reps questions about the story. "She's exploring other options," Lopez's spokeswoman said. "It's not as dramatic as it seems."

September 6, 2004 - Anonymous writes "Miami's resident diva, Jennifer Lopez, opened the 2004 Video Music Awards solo while hubby Marc Anthony looked on from the audience. The actress chose a super-tight champagne dress designed by Stella McCartney.
