January 31, 2005 - The New
York Post reports that after landing her roles in 'Shall We Dance', which
Page Six says bombed, and 'An Unfinished Life' and 'Monster-In-Law', which
aren't expected to do much better according to Page Six, Jennifer Lopez
ditched Endeavor agent Patrick Whitesell for a team at ICM headed by Toni
Howard and Jeff Berg. Controlling hubby Marc Anthony is reportedly happy
with the move, since she won't have anymore contact with the handsome Whitesell.

31, 2005 - Friends tell In Touch magazine that Marc Anthony has been pressuring
wife Jennifer Lopez to bow to his demands, convincing the diva to sell
her homes in Miami and Los Angeles. In a rare move where Lopez insisted
on getting her way, Anthony was upset with the results of her new 'Get
Right' video. "Marc still sees 'Get Right' as Jenny from the block stuff,"
a pal revealed. "It's young-sounding for him and something he doesn't see
Jennifer doing for long." The source added, "When they work together, it's
all about Marc. It's the way he sees it or hears it. And, even though Jennifer
is good at standing up for herself, she does back down a lot."
January 31, 2005 - In Touch
magazine reports that in an effort to boost her pregnancy chances, Jennifer
Lopez has created a shrine at her Long Island home featuring a 17-inch
Our Lady of Guadalupe — a Mexican rendering of the Virgin Mary. "Praying
to the saint was her mom's idea," a family source explained. "A year ago,
Jen would have said, 'No way.' She's desperate and is praying for a miracle."

writes "Production Weekly reports that Gregory Nava is in talks with Jennifer
Lopez, who he directed in 'Selena', to star in the thriller 'Bordertown'.
Lopez would play Lauren, an impassioned American reporter for the Chicago
Sentinel who heads to Juarez, a Mexican bordertown, in order to investigate
a series of mysterious slayings involving young factory women from all
over Mexico. As she discovers hundreds of victims, she gains the trust
of local factory workers but falls into danger. Production on the film
is scheduled to begin March 7th in Mexico."

tell Roger Friedman of FoxNews.com that Usher is furious with Jennifer
Lopez because he had already recorded her new single 'Get Right' as a single
called 'Ride' that wasn't included on his most recent album, 'Confessions',
but was available as a 12-inch club record and on the Internet last year.
When asked about the J.Lo song, Usher reported fumed, "I hate it. And I'd
better get some of the publishing [rights]." Meanwhile, J.Lo is struggling
to make deadlines at Sony Music for her new album, 'Rebirth', which is

Lopez took part in an online chat with fans on MSN on January 4th, and
was asked if she found it difficult to balance being a singer, dancer and
actor. "I've been doing it for a while now and I have found the balance
in it," Lopez responded. "I go with my gut to choose material for films
and music. It really all depends and I try and balance. It's not as calculated

at Fred Segal in West Hollywood on January 2nd, both stars went gaga for
a baby a mother in the store was holding. "Marc kept saying, 'That's the
most beautiful baby!'," a shopper revealed, with J.Lo joining in on the
cooing.
January 17, 2005 - In the
latest issue of Vogue magazine, Jennifer Lopez speaks out about her current
marriage to Marc Anthony, her mistakes with actor Ben Affleck and her upcoming
Spanish album. "When everything was happening with Ben," she says, "I realized
talking about stuff just feeds the machine. It threatens what I love most;
my work. And it is also very, very dangerous for my personal life. I was

of her upcoming album 'Rebirth', Jennifer Lopez is gearing up for her first-ever
tour. "I've tried to plan a tour so many times," she tells MTV News. "And
we're planning it again. It's exciting." Lopez normally has a full film
schedule to deal with preventing tour plans, but believes she'll have enough
free time this year. "Because of the fact that I work in film, it's been
hard," she said. "It's been hard to map out that amount of time to really

to Us Weekly, Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears both spent December 22nd
fueling speculation they are pregnant. While J.Lo left empty handed with
hubby Marc Anthony browsing the Liz Lange maternity boutique in Long Island,
Britney's hubby Kevin Federline was spotted buying an e.p.t. home pregnancy
test at the McComb, Louisiana Wal-Mart. Spears' rep insisted, "Britney
is not pregnant."

some on Jennifer Lopez's new single 'Get Right', and the other songs it
borrows from. He also weighed in on the new tune, saying, "The new 'Get
Right' might set a record for the longest intro ever. In fact, the whole
'song"' is an intro. Lopez repeats the chorus (with that shrill Usher horn
riff playing behind her) for a full two minutes before she hits the 'song'
part. And that's where the problem lies. Unadorned by her usual phalanx

be called "J.Lo". Lopez explained, "I'm not J.Lo, she's not a real person.
She was just a bit of fun that got really crazy. I've never been anyone
but Jennifer. I was going to call the album 'Call Me Jennifer' because
that would be my way of saying goodbye to the whole J.Lo thing. 'But Rebirth'
is perfect because it means so much more."

taking prenatal vitamins in a bid to start a family with hubby Marc Anthony.
"She's started taking a daily vitamin supplement to boost her chances of
getting pregnant and to ensure that once she does conceive, she'll have
a relatively smooth pregnancy," the source revealed.
