Lavoe popularized the Salsa movement in the mid-70's, bringing the Puerto Rican dance style to New York from his island of birth. The couple spoke with TMZ.com about the film. December 18, 2005 - Among those helping Jessica Simpson cope with divorcing Nick Lachey are two female stars who have dealt with their own very public breakups, Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez. "[The contact] has been very minimal, but [Simpson and Aniston] have connected," an insider tells Us Weekly. "It is more of a you-go-girl kind of support." As for J.Lo, a source says she "passed on a sweet not to Jessica last week. It is nice that these older celebrities are looking out for her." Simpson's rep Rob Shuter, refusing to comment on specific stars who have offered support, said, "The outreach from other celebrities has been overwhelming."

December 18, 2005 - Star magazine reports that while Jennifer Lopez longs to have a baby, her hubby Marc Anthony, already a father of three, doesn't want any more children. "Marc says that with his career and his existing kids, he can't devote time to a new baby right now, and that can't make Jennifer happy," a source revealed. A friend of the couple says the issue must be especially stressful given that "Jennifer has a strong mothering instinct. Having a baby would mean more to her than winning a Grammy or an Oscar." "It can take up to 100 chinchillas to make one coat and Jennifer Lopez has one made of 80 of them, all killed by electrocution or having their necks snapped," Imbruglia tells Britain's Cosmopolitan magazine. "China, where most fur comes from, has no regulations for animal welfare. Dogs, cats and other animals are skinned alive and die slow, extremely painful deaths. Besides, wearing fur makes you look like an old woman!"
