February 25, 2000 - Jennifer Lopez was nominated for Nickelodeon's 13th Annual Kids' Choice Awards for Favorite Female Singer and Favorite New Music Artist. The program will air from the legendary Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA, on Saturday, April 15 from 8-9:30 p.m. ET/PT.

February 23, 2000 - Jennifer Lopez took a page out of Britney Spears' AMA dress code and one upped it, dropping the jaws of the entire crowd and her award co-presenter David Duchovny. She lost out for best Dance Recording to Cher with her big hit Believe. And yes, unfortunately she arrived with Puffy, who incidently was indicted today on bribery charges stemming from him offering his driver a ring in exchange for him taking the gun possession rap.

February 10, 2000 - Huge news from the Enquirer this week about the spat between Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey, in which Lopez is quoted as saying to a friend 'I'm sexier than Mariah... she's been sitting on her little throne for so long that all that success has made her plump,' " Apparently the two have exchanged dirty looks and words ever since and in large part prompted Mariah to get cosmetic surgery. Incensing her even more was Lopez hooking up with Tommy Mattola and Puffy, both of whom Mariah had dated earlier.

February 10, 2000 - An interesting story out from e! online's Ted Casablanca about Jennifer Lopez's co-star in the upcoming The Wedding Planner, turns out he got a dose of Jennifer's music in a nearby car while driving thru LA, screaming "I can't stand that music! I hate it!" Little did he know it would get reported to the press and most likely in the ears of Jennifer herself, can you smell tension on that set? =)

February 9, 2000 - The Associated Press is reporting that Puffy Combs may actually have a good side. Apparently court records indicate that Combs was more worried about her than he was about being in jail, asking "repeatedly, spontaneously, and not in response to questioning, asked officers why Jennifer Lopez was being arrested." according to the documents. Information like this may help win over a public that currently shows no sympathy for the rapper.

February 7, 2000 - eyada.com's Rush and Malloy reported today that Puffy Combs left his party Saturday night early after holding a fashion show so that he could go onto the set of SNL to wish Jennifer Lopez good luck. Witnesses reported Jennifer in Puffy's lap making out with the rapper.

February 7, 2000 - Sean Puffy Combs pleaded not guilty today in Manhattan Criminal Court on two felony gun possession charges. Afterwards, his attorney Benjamin Brafman stated "Once the facts are known, he'll be found not guilty."

February 6, 2000 - Jennifer Lopez heated up the screen last night with her appearance on Saturday Night Live. She was showing off her tightly toned abs and a hip hugging skirt. Incidently, Jennifer met up with Madonna earlier in the week on the set but there were no fireworks as the two apparently joked about the New Years Eve rift.

February 4, 2000 - Star magazine reports that Puff Daddy gave Jennifer Lopez a $100,000 engagement ring and that she wants to marry the repeat criminal and have his children. Combs' run-in with the law supposedly has changed his ideas about marriage, although Lopez's family is said to be furious, wanting her to dump the washed up rap duplicator.

February 1, 2000 - Jennifer Lopez is nominated for the UK's BRIT Awards for Best International Newcomer facing the likes of Britney Spears and Eminem.
