July 30, 2000 - The New York Daily News today reports that Chris Rock sent a bouquet of flowers to Jennifer Lopez after "making you the butt of my jokes. Ha, ha." Minutes later, another bouquet was sent with the note "These are for your butt."

July 25, 2000 - Pagesix.com reports Jennifer Lopez was shocked Moday night at a surprise 30th birthday bash at the Lotus in New York. A source says she was overwealmed and in tears when the celebrity and family packed crowd of 250 surprised her.

July 25, 2000 - Jennifer Lopez's Waiting For Tonight has been nominated for Best Dance Video and Best Choreography In A Video in this year's MTV Video Music Awards, which will be hosted by the Wayans brothers, reports Worldpop.

July 24, 2000 - Happy birthday Jennifer! Tonight Jay Leno joked that for her birthday, friends wanted to give her a birthday spanking, but that it may take a few days as they have alot of ground to cover!

July 24, 2000 - Jennifer Lopez tells Playboy in their September issue (sorry folks, she ain't posing nude) that she really wanted the role of the sister in Gladiator, confessing "I met Ridley Scott and ... I could tell he didn't see me in the role. I didn't know what his vision was ... but I could tell I wasn't it the minute I went in." She divulges what keeps her attached to Puffy "We balance each other out, he loves to hang out, to go to parties and to be the center of attention. I'd much rather go to work and come home at night."

July 15, 2000 - Jennifer's appearance in W Magazine has quite a few interesting quotes from the actress. Her comments on Puffy "One of the great things about being with who I'm with right now is that he and I do understand each other's business. We've both separately built something from nothing. So he is my equal in that sense. It's hard for me, or any woman in this business, to find somebody who understands what makes me tick." while she says of her shrunken booty "I started feeling like, 'Lord! I better keep on my game! Everyone's watching me.' A little bit of jiggly is okay if that's what your boyfriend likes. But when that doesn't work for you, you've got to change it. I just don't feel good these days if I feel flabby -- so I'll go and I'll run every morning."

July 15, 2000 - Jennifer is featured in more autographed pictures on eBay. The 16x20 picture (#380971643) has a pricy asking of $79.95 and ends today. We've gotta admit though, it's pretty bad-ass for Lopez.

July 14, 2000 - The Star reports that ex manager Eric Gold is suing his former client, Jennifer Lopez, for $1 million. Gold claims that once Puffy came on the scene Jennifer fell "completely under his spell" and added he wasn't surprised about the nighclub shooting that followed.

July 14, 2000 - The Daily News has news on the masseur who did work on Jennifer in the Hapmtons, as the jealous Combs ordered, no touching Lopez below the small of her back.

July 12, 2000 - Puffy and Jennifer were at Paris' famous nightspot, Les Bains Douche last Saturday to celebrate Puffy's new clothing line, Sean John Women.

July 12, 2000 - Jennifer Lopez is on the cover and featured in a big spread in W magazine, which is out Friday.

July 11, 2000 - Jennifer Lopez was on Access Hollywood tonight as they were on hand during a driveby shooting scene in her new movie Angel Eyes. [and no, there isn't much to see of Jennifer in a police uniform!]

July 11, 2000 - The New York Daily News reports that Jennifer Lopez needed an emergency bikini wax over the Fourth of July holiday that she spent with Puffy in The Hamptons. Even with the special trip, Lopez failed to leave a tip for the woman who rushed to her hairy rescue.

July 8, 2000 - dotmusic reports as Jennifer Lopez's research for her part in The Cell, she invented a problem and saw a therapist about it, who told her she is constantly sending out mixed signals. Lopez said of the incident "I thought I knew why I did things. But I guess you never see yourself the way other people do. I guess she saw me for who I was trying to be."

July 8, 2000 - Jennifer Lopez's duet with Marc Anthony for No Me Ames received a nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group in this year's 1st Latin Grammy Awards.

July 4, 2000 - Puffy's much hyped Hampton's bash ended up being on Friday instead, where guests were given a secret CD with details. At the bash, Jennifer Lopez was wearing a backless, powder-blue sheath. The party lasted until 4am, reports the NY Daily News.

July 1, 2000 - A great pair of candid pictures of Jennifer Lopez are up for bids at eBay. The 4x6 photos (item #371469076) are currently bid at $5 and end July 5th.
