October 29, 2000 - Jennifer Lopez was selected for the My VH1 Music Awards as a finalist for the categories of Woman of the Year, Sexxxiest Video (Waiting For Tonight), Booty Shake, and Double Threat (music/actors) in an interactive music awards show which will air live on VH1, November 30th at 9:00 PM (ET) from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. October 27, 2000 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca reports Jennifer Lopez and Puffy Combs were holding hands "as were sundry body parts" while watching the World Series game last week.

October 24, 2000 - Jennifer Lopez got in trouble with police after whooping it up a little too much during her VH1 afterparty at the Hudson Hotel, reports the New York Daily News. They also hint that a little of the green leafy substance was wafting in the air outside of the hotel room, where Jennifer was dancing up a storm. Other guests complaining of the noise ended up receiving a free night from the hotel. Also attending the afterparty were Heidi Klum, Gisele Bundchen, and rockers Paul McCartney and Keith Richards.

October 24, 2000 - The Star is running photos showing how Jennifer Lopez's fanny has shrunk from 1998 to 1999, only to re-emerge in 2000. Though Lopez appears to have started a trend, as Dr. Charles Messa told them "Fuller butts are back.
