July 26, 2002 - If you missed performances by Jennifer Love Hewitt ('Barenaked'), last week on MTV's Total Request Live, their official site has a video archive of them all.

July 26, 2002 - John Schultz, Senior Production Assistant of TRL gave a great behind the scenes account of Jennifer's performance. John said, "I was anxious to see if this TV/movie star had what it takes to be a true singing sensation. She came out onto the set for rehearsal in jeans and a t-shirt - fully casual. She started to sing, and I can honestly say that I was surprised at how quality her voice sounded."

July 22, 2002 - The New York Daily News reports Jennifer Love Hewitt played a gig at the Cutting Room Thursday night, giving the audience a preview of her new album 'Barenaked.' A source said Jennifer "seemed a little nervous", but performed well as her mother and a small entourage egged her on.

July 20, 2002 - WireImage.com have additional footage from the 2002 WBLI Summer Jam at the Jones Beach Marine Theater. On the lineup were Ashanti, Amber, Dreamstreet, Fat Joe, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kylie Minogue, LMNT, Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter, O-Town, Shaggy, Shakira, and Vanessa Carlton. All are featured in the photos.

July 18, 2002 - Well the buzz for Thursday will be whether Carson Daly will host MTV's Total Request Live. Why? Because his ex-girlfriend will be appearing on the show and the pair had a nasty split, with Carson still fuming over being alerted his multi-year romance with the singer/actress was over via fax. Since Carson hosted Monday and today, while Damien hosted Tuesday, I'll bet on Damien hosting Thursday. It would make for great TV, but it's likely if the pair did agree to an interview, it would be on Last Call, not the TRL show he appears to be distancing himself from.

July 18, 2002 - WPIX New York has a short clip on Jennifer Love Hewitt profiling her new video 'Barenaked' and her return to the music scene.

July 12, 2002 - A Michael Musto blind item asks, "What ex-teen movie cutie slept with that surly superstar and says he's got the tiniest known wee-wee in the galaxy (which might explain a lot, actually)?" Does this sound like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Alec Baldwin? Another item asks, "What navel-baring actress-turned-singer won't do interviews unless you agree to not bring up her breasts and her ex-boyfriends? Who gives a sh** about either?"
