September 28, 2002 - Jennifer Love Hewitt chatted with Evan Henerson of the LA Daily News about her new movie 'The Tuxedo' that has her again dealing with cleavage jokes, something the actress/singer has become used to. "Boobs and things are brought up so much and sort of talked about so much that I almost think of them as a completely different person," she says. "So I don't really think about it or take offense. I wish there was something else about me they could use to make jokes about, or talk about in interviews, but that's kind of not my job. If that's what they respond to, then fine."

I was standing in a line and there was somebody behind me. He automatically was my new mystery boyfriend." The oddest hookup she's seen in the press? "My relationship with Burt Reynolds," she says. September 21, 2002 - Entertainment Tonight had more on the scare Jennifer Love Hewitt had at the premiere of 'The Tuxedo' on Thursday in Los Angeles. Police cleared the sidewalks in the immediate area earlier in the evening, and sources told ET that it was because a stalker who had been following Jennifer recently was spotted nearby. As police and private security kept a close eye on the crowd, Jennifer was all smiles as she walked the black carpet. Love Hewitt said she was determined to have a good time despite the concerns. "That happens when you're in the public eye," she said. "It's a little bit of a nervous night. But you know what? It's going to be fine."

September 10, 2002 - Jennifer Love Hewitt stopped by 98.1 CHFI to talk about her new album 'BareNaked' last month. Jennifer was surprised about her popularity in Japan where her first albums were a big hit. Love Hewitt said her main goal to create an album that from song 1 to song 12 you have to listen to. She admits she wanted kids to know that she's not any different than they are and suffers from the same insecurities and being vulnerable to life. The interview and pictures from her appearance on the Toronto soft-rock station has since been removed from chfi.com.

September 1, 2002 - Brendan Kelly of the Montreal Gazette spoke with Jennifer Love Hewitt about her new album 'BareNaked', which she says is not what many would expect to be a teen disposable-pop turf filled album. "I wanted to make a soul/rock record because that's the kind of stuff I grew up on," Hewitt said. "I grew up on Janis Joplin, Al Green and Billie Holiday. I knew it was a tougher thing to do, but it made it more exciting. It would've been a lot easier and would've taken half as much time to let someone else write my songs and to do a pop record. But that's not what I wanted to do. I wanted to challenge myself."

September 1, 2002 - The Vancouver Province spoke with Jennifer Love Hewitt during her recent stop in Toronto where the singer promoted her new album 'BareNaked'. Asked if she planned on touring in support of the album, Jennifer admitted, "I want to know that an audience really wants me to be there," she says. "But I don't want to do it if I'm going to get to some stadium and there's four people . . . That would be depressing." She admits success in music won't be easy, despite her established film career. "You just have to work really hard in the music industry because there's so many people and I'm coming in at a time when there's 900 other female singer-songwriters exactly my age," she said.
