Tonight had more on the scare Jennifer Love Hewitt had at the premiere
of 'The Tuxedo' on Thursday in Los Angeles. Police cleared the sidewalks
in the immediate area earlier in the evening, and sources told ET that
it was because a stalker who had been following Jennifer recently was spotted
nearby. As police and private security kept a close eye on the crowd, Jennifer
was all smiles as she walked the black carpet. Love Hewitt said she was
determined to have a good time despite the concerns. "That happens when
you're in the public eye," she said. "It's a little bit of a nervous night.

read books or watch movies, he did know who Jennifer was. "Come on now,
I'm still a guy!" he laughs. "And may I say that was an awful thing. No,
not the nature of the relationship, but the experience of living that in
front of everybody. You know, you meet somebody and they automatically
become normal to you. That's how she was. Naive as it sounds, I didn't
feel like I was spending time with someone who was a movie star until,
'Wait, there's People magazine snapping pictures!'" Read more.

I like to stay at home and watch Golden Girls reruns. People are always
making fun of me. I don't drink, I don't smoke, I've never done a drug

girl everybody picks on. But I like it. It makes me me. It makes me an
individual." Read more and check out accompanying photos here.

September 1, 2002 - Brendan
Kelly of the Montreal Gazette spoke with Jennifer Love Hewitt about her
new album 'BareNaked', which she says is not what many would expect to
be a teen disposable-pop turf filled album. "I wanted to make a soul/rock
record because that's the kind of stuff I grew up on," Hewitt said. "I
grew up on Janis Joplin, Al Green and Billie Holiday. I knew it was a tougher
thing to do, but it made it more exciting. It would've been a lot easier
and would've taken half as much time to let someone else write my songs
and to do a pop record. But that's not what I wanted to do. I wanted to
challenge myself." Read more.

to do it if I'm going to get to some stadium and there's four people .
. . That would be depressing." She admits success in music won't be easy,
despite her established film career. "You just have to work really hard
in the music industry because there's so many people and I'm coming in
at a time when there's 900 other female singer-songwriters exactly my age,"
she said. Read more.
