October 21, 2002 - Jennifer Love Hewitt remembered her first singing experience on stage telling Launch.com: "I was 6 years old and I performed at a dance recital at one of the local high schools for my dance group. And I was always kind of put in the back of the dancing line because I had been one of the people at this dance studio for the longest period of time, so they always put the new people up front. So this one particular year I kind of kept moving my way to the front, singing and everything, so they decided that they would let me sing. And I performed 'The Greatest Love of All.' And the mic was off the entire time. And I was just kind of screaming it at the top of my lungs." Her new album 'Barenaked' debuted at #37 on Billboard this week.

Connolly said, "I was in charge of prepping the Jennifer Love Hewitt interview. We initially wanted her to go outside and mingle with her fans, but it wound up not being the best of weather, so that put an end to that idea. Oh well, she's always really fun, so it didn't really bother us. She showed up right on time (which is always a plus) and was so nice and up for just about anything we threw her way. I asked her about her karaoke obsession (apparently it's her favorite thing to do). So I asked if she would sing 'I Will Survive' live on air. She was psyched to do it, and it was fun for everyone to see her less serious side." Read more.
