December 18, 2005 - In 'Garfield 2', a sequel to the 2004 hit movie in which Jennifer Love Hewitt and Breckin Meyer get engaged. "We get engaged and it is very exciting," Jennifer tells 'Entertainment Tonight'. "I have never been proposed to before, so I am going to take the footage to my house. Love Hewitt said to close the interview: "Can we just say that, for the time being, no matter what happened, I was a really good girlfriend to you and you were a great boyfriend, and that..." Carson then interrupted, "The latter is so true. The first part is definitely true, but..." She then said, "We had a lot of fun, and it was a good time in our life. So we should end it like that." Ferguson also asked about her singing career, and how she's been able to sell a lot of records in Japan. Asked why the Japanese were so crazy for her, Love Hewitt responded, "Because they don't understand what I'm saying. I just don't know. Wow, that's the drinking thing again."
